With Twist around the World at Advantageous Prices

  • Mobile phones with prepaid Paegas Twist cards can be used in 203 GSM networks in 89 countries
  • GSM Paegas network is one of the pioneers of services based on the new CAMEL technology
  • Owners of prepaid cards Paegas Twist can use roaming with a direct call in Germany, Switzerland, and newly also in Austria
As easily as at home, the owners of prepaid Paegas Twist cards can take advantage of the GSM services in three further countries: Germany, Switzerland and newly also in Austria. This is possible thanks to the CAMEL technology (Customised Applications for Mobile Networks Enhanced Logic) based on the so-called intelligent networks (IN) that was introduced by Paegas under the brand Twist 100% Roaming. Also in other networks - RadioMobil has more than 200 roaming partners in 89 countries around the world - the users of Paegas Twist services can make phone calls thanks to the service Twist roaming with a back call and send text messages. "Our experience clearly shows us the large potential of the CAMEL technology because in the networks where our customers can make use of the advantages of direct calls when travelling abroad, there has been a multiple increase in traffic," said the Marketing Director of RadioMobil Robert Chvátal and added: "We constantly develop our services and our specialists prepare a number of innovations, yet there will always be a clear difference between prepaid services and standard tariff programs."

When travelling abroad, the owners of prepaid Paegas Twist cards can also receive SMS text messages absolutely for free. So for instance if they use the ClickBox Easy service and have the new message notification set in this box, they may use them abroad as well. The rates charged for sending messages depend on the country in which the customer is. In Slovakia, one sent message costs 8 KÄŤ, in most European countries 10 KÄŤ and in all other countries 18 KÄŤ. Receiving and sending messages is always as simple as in the GSM Paegas network. "Our clients rank among the most demanding users of SMS text services and a number of them has been also using the opportunities brought by ClickBox Easy. In addition to that, in the networks enabling our clients to use the CAMEL technology the owners of Paegas Twist cards can access the ClickBox Easy via WAP as easily as if they were in the CR," completed Robert Chvátal.

All GSM operators in the world have been gradually implementing the CAMEL technology thanks to which they can also in the field of roaming offer the owners of prepaid cards services with the same degree of comfort such as that enjoyed by users of standard tariff programs. This technology is likely to be implemented by all operators in future, as only CAMEL gives the operators the opportunity to offer also to roaming users similar advantages which they are used to in the domestic network. The CAMEL technology enables the transfer of basic user data between networks of different operators. Before dialling a number, the user does not need to enter any distinction signs but s/he simply enters the number in the international format or uses a number from his/her phonebook. S/he can also for example receive and send SMS text messages, use quick dialling (for instance when calling the Voicemail - s/he just dials 3311). Exactly for this reason RadioMobil introduced this technology already last year as Twist 100% Roaming.

In the case of the service Twist roaming with a back call the customer must, before dialling a number, enter distinction signs. This is a rather outdated solution, however, it can be used practically with all roaming partners of RadioMobil. For roaming with a back call you enter: **111*number of the called party in the international format# (the number in the international format has two zeros at the beginning). After successful despatch the following message appears on the display: "Cekejte na zpetne volani" (Wait for the back call) and in 5 -10 seconds the system calls the customer back in order to connect him/her.

Due to the low prices of international calls in the Paegas network, very often the customer will pay to RadioMobil for incoming phones abroad substantially less than mobile phone users of other Czech operators. For in the case of roaming the user pays for the incoming call on the basis of international calls price list of its operator, and only for outgoing calls s/he pays according to RadioMobil price list.

Advantages of Paegas Twist roaming with a direct call compared to other prepaid roaming solutions:
Direct number entering: the user does not enter any codes in front of the number and s/he can use the phone memory
Immediate connection: no need to wait for a back call, connection proceeds immediately as with calls in the domestic network
Quick dialling: the owner of the prepaid Paegas Twist card can also use quick dialling abroad as s/he does in the domestic network (e.g. numbers 3311 - Voicemail, 333 - Paegas Assistant)
Credit: the customer always knows his/her up-to-date credit instantly, as all transactions are carried out immediately
Recharging: if the customer needs to recharge his/her credit, the call from abroad (to 4602) is free
ClickWAP: The customer can use the services based on the WAP standard as easily as in the Paegas network; s/he can thus for example handle the ClickBox Easy anytime and anywhere
