Kaktus has attracted 76,000 customers, of whom 70% use data services and 60% free Facebok access. The limited promo offer of free Facebook access expires on 1 June. Customers activating a SIM card after 31 May will be able to use free Facebook access when they have an active data bundle, while nothing changes for Kaktus’s existing customers. Kaktus is also preparing a competition to win attractive prizes, web chat and a campaign with YouTubers and the hashtag #boduju.
The most popular Kaktus bundles include data bundles (activated by 55% of customers), followed by bundles containing free calling minutes (26%) and free text messages (19%). Sixty-five percent of data bundles purchased by customers are those with automatic extension, so no unused data can be lost.
The self-service application is very popular among Kaktus’s customers: it has been downloaded by more than 27,700 users, while 80% of all transactions relate to the administration of bundles. In the first four months of this year, the operator handled nearly 29,000 queries via Facebook. Since some customers lacked the standard chat feature, web chat will soon be added as another communications channel.
Kaktus’s new “spine” campaign will run between 31 May and 14 June in cooperation with popular Czech YouTubers, who include Jirka Král, Johnny Valda and MadBrosChannel. The YouTubers will be connected via the hashtag #boduju; however, each of them can approach the “Hardship of Wooing” (Strasti balení) theme in their own way. Other Kaktus fans can take part in a competition to win attractive prizes, including an HTC Desire 816 with a SIM card and CZK 5,000 in credit, an HTC Desire 816 and a selfie stick.
More information about the competition will be available from 31 May on www.fb.com/kaktus.
The campaign featuring the YouTubers will mark the start of another cartoon Kaktus campaign created by Saatchi & Saatchi. It is based on the experiences shared by teenagers within a survey conducted for the “spine” mark by PerfectCrowd.
