Prague, 31 May 2004 - More and more Czech people travel abroad each year, whether on business or on holiday. Having a mobile phone in your bag gives you a feeling of security and thus mobile phones are for many people indispensable companions on their travels. However, the expected holiday telephone bill can become a real nightmare. But not necessarily - with the new T-Mobile roaming offer all worries are needless. The operator has come up with two improvements - a substantial simplification and the packages Dovolená and Evropa, with which the customer gets a certain amount of free minutes for both incoming and outgoing phone-calls abroad and can make calls for prices starting at CZK 9.90/min.

New Relax roaming divides the world into 4 areas: 1. Slovakia, 2. Europe (except Russia and Ukraine), 3. Russia, Ukraine, Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania, North America and 4. South and Central America. From the networks of all operators in a given country the customer can call for the same price, regardless of the current exchange rate. The traveler thus does not have to compare the foreign operators and knows the exact price of the phone calls in advance.

According to the destination, the customer activates either the simpler Relax Holiday roaming (for areas 1 and 2) or the full-featured Relax roaming. The activation is free of charge in both cases; only in the case of the full-featured roaming it is, in particular cases, necessary to put down a deposit of CZK 5,000. Relax Holiday roaming can be activated via SMS, on the infoline at 4603 or via My T-Mobile (formerly Profil) at t-zones or WAP. Moreover, this type of roaming is automatically activated on all newly sold SIM cards .  For information on the full-featured Relax roaming, customers can contact the T-Mobile Infoline or any T Mobile Retail Shop.

With the new Relax roaming offer, the customer can also purchase one of the packages Dovolená or Evropa, which include a certain amount of free minutes for both incoming and outgoing calls for a fixed price. That means an even more favourable price for one minute of a roaming call.

For the period between 1 June and 30 September 2004, T-Mobile offers the Dovolená package for CZK 99; which includes 10 free minutes for calls from/to the Czech Republic and within the given country. The package can be used for 2 months from the date of activation in the holiday destinations that are most frequented by Czechs: Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Slovakia, Spain and Tunisia. 

With the continuously offered Evropa package the customer gets 15 free minutes for CZK 375. Each minute of a call to/from the Czech Republic and within the given country thus costs CZK 25. The package is also valid for 2 months from the activation date and it can be used in all countries of Area 1 and 2.
