Prague, 25 January 2005 - T-Mobile offers all of its customers another opportunity to significantly reduce their phone bills. Starting on 1 February, there is a new tariff add-on called Fixed+, which offers calls to fixed-line phones in the Czech Republic for CZK 1 (CZK 1.19 incl. VAT) per minute. Customers can make their own calculation of whether paying monthly fees to two operators really pays off. Two other new services are designed for business customers - the new tariff Profi 100 extends the range of tariffs for business people, and the new Green Calls variant unifies calling rates and no longer charges the routing of incoming calls.
"The mobile phone brings opportunities a fixed line cannot offer - especially real mobility. You no longer have to wait in your home or office for an important phone call, fax or e-mail," says Jiří Hájek, press spokesman for T-Mobile, adding: "Our new tariff options now highlight the benefits which mobile phones bring also in terms of calling prices."
Mobile phones even provide services a fixed line does not offer at all: customers can receive information on events in the Czech Republic and around the world using SMS Info, administer their bank accounts via GMS Banking, send multimedia messages or greet callers with a Caller Tune.
Increased numbers of customers obviously realize that paying two monthly fees does not pay off - while mobile phone penetration exceeded 100 percent at the beginning of this year, the number of fixed-line phones in households continues to drop every year (to the current 60 percent). Not only the fact that the customer receives only one invoice speaks for the "mobile option"; customers of a mobile operator can be sure to receive highest-quality care.
Fixed+
Every customer who decides to use the Fixed+ tariff add-on will pay a fee of CZK 49 (CZK 58.31 incl. VAT) in addition to the basic monthly fee; calls to fixed-line phones in the Czech Republic will then cost just CZK 1 (CZK 1.19 incl. VAT) per minute. Another advantage is the fact that this rate applies round the clock throughout the Czech Republic, without differentiating between any time or tariff zones. At www.t-mobile.cz, a calculator will be available from the beginning of February, allowing customers to easily calculate how much they will save by choosing Fixed+.
The Fixed+ add-on can be activated by all customers using some of the currently offered or selected older tariffs (including their HIT variants). Fixed+ can be activated from 1 February 2005 till 31 May 2005. Activation and deactivation are free of charge and can be made as follows: by calling the T-Mobile Infoline, via My T-Mobile or sending an SMS with PEP A to 4603. New customers can request activation of this add-on directly at the T-Mobile shop when activating a new SIM card.
The rate of CZK 1/min (CZK 1.19 incl. VAT) applies after using up the free minutes within the tariff. The rate is charged based on the 120+60 scheme, i.e. two full minutes are charged, after which the connection time is charged by the minute, similarly to local calls with fixed operators. This principle applies to all calls to the fixed network, including those made using the free minutes. The Fixed+ add-on does not apply to SMS.
Profi 100
Starting on 1 February 2005, there is also a new service for business customers - tariff Profi 100, containing 100 free minutes. Customers will pay a monthly fee of CZK 549 (CZK 653.30 incl. VAT) and the price of a call to the T-Mobile network will be a favourable CZK 2.80 (CZK 3.33 incl. VAT); an SMS will cost CZK 1 (CZK 1.19 incl. VAT).

With Profi 100, customers can also activate other tariff add-ons such as Fixed+, Weekend+ or Nonstop+. In addition to the new tariff, customers can also choose any of the GPRS tariffs for internet and WAP access. Use of Profi 100 is conditioned by entering into the Important Customer Contract or General Contract.
Green Calls
In April last year, T-Mobile offered its customers the possibility of establishing the Green Calls service, i.e. a toll-free line whose operation is paid by the party called. T-Mobile is now introducing another variant of this programme, containing two new features. One of them is the unification of the price of an incoming call, regardless of the network in which it originated, at CZK 3.99/min (CZK 4.75 incl. VAT); another is the cancellation of the charges for call routing. The new generation of the service can thus bring significant savings on the operation of Green Calls to the provider.
In addition to the new tariff, T-Mobile will continue offering the existing tariff so that all customers can choose the one that better meets their needs. The price lists of both Green Calls variants can be found at www.t-mobile.cz.
