Prague, 27 March 2014 – Beginning on 1 April 2014, T-Mobile will start offering a new prepaid Twist card with the Twist Našim+ (“Twist to Our Customers+”) plan, allowing outgoing calls and text messages at cheaper rates. This plan features a pre-set benefit within the Našim za dobití (“Reward for Top-Up to Our Customers”) program – Výhodná sazba, a special rate that allows making calls to T-Mobile numbers for CZK 1.50/min. At the same time, the operator will discontinue some old Twist plans and bundles that are not used much by customers and will simplify its offer for prepaid card users while also making it more transparent.

“The special calling rate of CZK 1.50/min. is our response to the wishes of our customers who call T-Mobile numbers. There are more than 5.5 million of these numbers and three-quarters of the total calling minutes of Twist customers are currently directed to those numbers. Prepaid card users will surely appreciate the reduced rate, regardless of the time of the day when they make their calls,” says Dana Tomášková, Vice President Resident Marketing at T-Mobile.

The new Twist card with the Twist Našim+ plan allows making calls to all networks at the default rate of CZK 3.50/min., with calls billed in one-minute increments, and sending text messages at CZK 1.50/text message (prices include VAT). It features an automatically pre-set new benefit within the Našim za dobití program – the Výhodná sazba special rate. If customers top up their credit with CZK 300 or more, they will make calls to all T-Mobile numbers for a whole month for just CZK 1.50/min. In the case of a lower top-up amount, the operator will enable customers to make calls at CZK 2.20/min. for a month. The special calling rate as a reward for credit top-up with less than CZK 300 was previously valid for one week only.

Existing prepaid card users can also easily switch to the new plan and the special calling rate. All they need to do to activate Twist Našim+ is send a text message with CHCI NASIMPLUS to 4603; to activate the new benefit that can be combined with all currently offered plans, they just need to send a text message with NASIM SAZBA.

At the same time, the operator will gradually implement by the end of July 2014 certain changes aimed at simplifying the offer for prepaid card users and making it more transparent. This is connected with the gradual discontinuation of older services that customers use only minimally. After 31 May, for example, it will no longer be possible to select such rewards for credit top-up as free off-peak calls, 1+1 free SMS and free internet; when topping up credit after that date, customers using those benefits will be rewarded with the new special rate. Certain older Twist plans and bundles will also be discontinued.

The upcoming simplification will also affect family offers, such as the Rodina (“Family”) plans and add-ons, which can be used by contract customers as well as prepaid Twist card users. “Now that we are offering flat-rate plans including unlimited calls and text messages to T-Mobile numbers for prices starting at CZK 249 per month, these services no longer have a purpose. Therefore we recommend that our customers switch to the newest plans or activate the Sponzor service,” explains Dana Tomášková.

The operator will give sufficient and timely notice to all customer affected by the discontinuation of older plans or bundles, offering them a new service or combination of services that will best suit their particular requirements.
