Twist Roaming with the Largest Number Of Partners and Best Prices

Users of the Paegas Twist prepaid services can use their mobile phone in networks of 184 GSM operators all around the world. This number of telecommunication companies made roaming agreements with RadioMobil, and thanks to these all Paegas users can use their mobile phones practically everywhere in the world. "We obtained the largest number of roaming partners very quickly, letting our clients choose the right operator practically anywhere in the world," said the spokeswoman of RadioMobil Tereza Kakosová.

At the same time, Twist Roaming is the most advantageous roaming service for prepaid cards on the Czech market. When receiving a call for example in the USA, the Twist card owner saves up to 24 crowns - that is 40 % - every minute when compared to prepaid cards of other Czech operators. In Germany, Austria and Poland is Twist 27 % cheaper when receiving a call. "We know that customers choose not only by considering services, but also by considering the price. With us, they can be sure they always get the best ratio of performance and price. Roaming is no exception," remarked Tereza Kakosová.

Last year, owners of prepaid Paegas Twist cards could receive calls and text messages abroad. Starting this years July, they can also call using 100% Twist Roaming or back call Twist Roaming.

Today the so-called back calls are an outdated solution, where the customer has to enter distinction signs before dialling a number. Nonetheless, it can be used practically with all RadioMobil roaming partners. For roaming with a back call you enter: **111*number of the called party in the international format# (the number in the international format with two zeros at the beginning). After successful despatch the following message appears on the display: "Cekejte na zpetne volani" (Wait for the back call) and in 5 -10 seconds the system calls the customer back in order to connect him/her.

The worlds largest GSM operators are now working hard on implementation of the CAMEL (Customised Applications for Mobile Networks Enhanced Logic) technology based on the so-called intelligent networks (IN). Thanks to this technology operators can offer prepaid card owners the same services with the same comfort in roaming that users of standard tariff programs already have. In the future all operators will probably implement it, because only CAMEL gives operators the possibility to offer roaming users similar advantages they are used to in their home networks. The CAMEL technology allows transmission of basic user data between networks of different operators. The user can hence for example receive and send SMS text messages, use quick dialling (e.g. when calling the Mailbox you only dial 3311). So far, Paegas Twist users can try the advantages brought about by CAMEL in the German D1 network. The list of networks allowing to use Twist 100% Roaming will further grow. The fact that it is RadioMobil who is coming up with the revolutionary change in prepaid card roaming is not very surprising. Its Paegas Twist service is the most widespread prepaid service in the Czech Republic - six out of ten prepaid users have it. That is understandable, because it is the most advantageous prepaid service on the Czech market, and furthermore has a number of unrivalled advantages. "The Paegas network is recognised as a network with the most innovative services in the world. An evidence of this is not only the last years Cannes award, which assessed RadioMobil as the most innovative operator in a competition of several hundreds GSM operators, but also the fact that our experts are being invited to the most important GSM conferences all around the world. Only few operators can choose a conference where to introduce their services and we are pleased that it is us in the CR," said Tereza Kakosová.

Advantages of 100% Paegas Twist roaming compared to other prepaid roaming solutions:

• Direct number entering: the user can use the phone memory, s/he does not enter any codes in front of the number
• Immediate connection: no need to wait for a back call, connection proceeds exactly as with calls in the home network
• Quick dialling: the owner of the prepaid Paegas Twist card can also use quick dialling abroad as s/he does in the home network (e.g. numbers 3311 - Voicemail, 333 - Paegas Assistant, 4603 - info line)
• SMS: sending and receiving short text messages is equally simple and reliable like in the home network
• Credit: the customer always knows his/her up-to-date credit instantly (that can be found out by a free call to Credit Info: 4601), all transactions are carried out immediately
• Recharging: if the customer needs to recharge his/her credit, the call from abroad is free

 

The joint-stock company RadioMobil is the operator of the most dynamically growing GSM network in the Czech Republic. At the end of 1999, the Paegas brands share of the market amounted to 47%, and the share of its Paegas Twist pre-paid services even reached over 60%. RadioMobil customers can use their mobile telephones in the networks of 184 operators in nearly 83 countries all over the world (111 different locations in all). During 1999 RadioMobil invested more than 5.5 billion Czech crowns into its network, and investment for the year 2000 is planned at over 10 billion. In June 2000 over 1 250 000 customers were using the Paegas services. Paegas registered about 400 000 new customers.
