TWIST Nej: Call from TWIST for only 2.80 CZK/min

• The user can choose one number and then call it anytime for a special rate
• Owners of prepaid Paegas TWIST cards have the widest portfolio of services for prepaid cards in the Czech republic at their disposal

Starting October, all owners of prepaid Paegas TWIST cards can select one Paegas number and then call it for 2.80 CZK/min. This new service is called TWIST Nej. â?śPaegas TWIST has always been the most advantageous prepaid service on the Czech market and it wants to keep up this position. An evidence of this is the new service, which allows TWIST owners to call a selected number anytime for a special rate,â?ť said the spokeswoman of RadioMobil Tereza Kakosová.

Twist Nej is similar to a service provided to owners of regular tariff programs for a longer time now. The customer dials 4440 (free from TWIST) and s/he enters the selected Paegas number in the national format (i.e. a code with one zero, e.g. 0603 xxx xxx). Every call to the selected number is then billed using a special rate but the user doesnâ??t have to dial it in any special way. Until the end of this year, the first five settings or changes of the TWIST Nej number are free of charge, there is a one-time fee of CZK 100 for every other change.

â?śTwist has become the most popular prepaid service on the Czech market which is evidenced by the fact that about 60 percent of all customers of prepaid GSM services decided for it. It is not only thanks to prices, but mainly because of the services it offers,â?ť explained Tereza Kakosová. Paegas Twist offers a whole range of services that no other operator has, such as GSM Banking, Paegas Info using SIM Toolkit, Paegas Assistant 333 (connection with requested number, on-line interpreting or secretarial services), 100% roaming or the widest selection of WAP applications, and now there is also TWIST Nej. At the same time, RadioMobil was the first in the CR and sometimes in the world to introduce most of the services on prepaid cards: SMS text messages, Paegas Internet Call, information services, data and fax calls, WAP.

 

RadioMobil Incorporated is the operator of the most dynamically growing GSM 900/1800 MHz network in the CR. The market share of Paegas was 46 % at the end of 1999 and the share of Paegas Twist prepaid services even exceeded 60 %. During 1999 over 500 thousand new customers decided for its services, which is the highest number in the history of mobile communications in the CR. The Paegas GSM network that RadioMobil operates belongs to the most technologically developed networks in the world and has no competitor in a whole range of services on the Czech market.

Only in the Paegas network really all customers, not excluding prepaid Paegas Twist card owners, can use the most modern services: free data and fax connection, GSM Banking, WAP-based services, Paegas Assistant and others. So far only RadioMobil offers the possibility of ordering services via the Internet or viewing the bill thanks to the Paegas Info Profil service. They can always be sure they chose the most effective operator on the Czech market.

The Paegas GSM network today covers over 99 % of the Czech population and 99.8 % of first-class roads. Customers can use a Paegas GSM mobile phone in networks of 189 operators from 85 countries of the whole world (116 various locations altogether). In 1999 RadioMobil invested more than 5.5 billion crowns into its network, and for 2000 it plans investments exceeding 10 billion. In July 2000 over 1 350 000 customers were using Paegas services.
