The Twist direct-dial roaming services based on the CAMEL technology (so-called 100% roaming) that allows Twist customers to roam without having to call back are becoming available in more and more countries of the world. Until now, the users of the prepaid Twist services could in such an easy way call and send text messages from three countries: Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In mid-May this year, another country was added to this list â?" Poland. In the above states RadioMobil customers make nearly 40% of all roaming calls.
RadioMobil was the first operator not only in the Czech Republic, but together with the German T-Mobil even the first one in Europe, to introduce the CAMEL technology (Customised Applications for Mobile Networks Enhanced Logic) based on the so-called intelligent networks. Since then the number of operators offering roaming services on the principle of this progressive technology has been growing, and a lot of others are working on the implementation of the CAMEL standard. With CAMEL, the customers can use the prepaid Twist services with the same convenience as in the national network.
â?žRadioMobil is the only operator offering services based on the CAMEL technology,â?ś explains JiĹ?í Hájek, spokesman for RadioMobil. â?žOur customers have already grown accustomed to the services based on state-of-the-art technologies ensuring a high level of user comfort. The hundred-percent roaming allowing for the transfer of basic user data between the networks of different operators is undoubtedly one of them and it will be implemented in the networks of the majority of operators in the future.â?ś
For the Paegas Twist users who need to use the services of roaming partners whose networks do not support direct-dial roaming yet, RadioMobil offers the less convenient solution of a back call roaming. Nevertheless, in both cases the customers can telephone and send the so popular short text messages.
Countries in which roaming without the need for a back call is available:
Country | Operator | Name of the network on the phoneâ??s display |
Poland | Polkomtel | PL-PLUS |
Germany | T-Mobil | D1 |
Austria | Maxmobil | A max. |
Switzerland | Swiscom | Swiss GSM |
