 T-Mobile donates CZK 2,000,000 to the government account

Prague, 22 August 2002 â?" T-Mobile customers may now provide financial support for people affected by the floods via SMS. Money collected in this way will be transferred to the government flood account. T-Mobile alone is donating CZK 2,000,000.

Customers who decide to contribute to the flood victims via SMS shall write the key word POVODNE in it and send the message to 4616. The outgoing SMS is charged according to the respective tariff of each customer, the incoming thank-you reply is charged CZK 50 (excl. VAT). Both amounts, i.e. the price of the outgoing and the incoming SMS, will be transferred to the government flood account (account no. 90 25-001/0710).

T-Mobile alone is donating CZK 2,000,000 to the government flood account.

Last week, T-Mobile donated CZK 500,000 to the collection announced by the Czech Red Cross. On Tuesday, T-Mobile announced its donation of CZK 1,000,000 to the renovation of the Prague zoological garden. Furthermore, T-Mobile has arranged a special fund among its employees to help their colleagues affected by the floods. T-Mobile will then provide the same amount as collected. Money exceeding the needs of the employees affected by the floods will also be transferred to the government flood account.
