Prague, 26 May 2009 - Like last year, T-Mobile will be the general partner of the Rock for People music festival. The festival, which is in its fifteenth year, will offer a number of special attractions under the t-music brand particularly for T-Mobile customers, such as discount tickets, a special SMS infochannel, two-storey "t‑music sky" marquee and the popular t-music zone.
"In our sponsorship activities, we want to provide benefits especially to our customers, just like with our standard products and services," says Zuzana Kadlečková, Senior Head of Sponsoring & Events at T‑Mobile, adding: "For this year's Rock for People we have therefore prepared activities which are aimed at rewarding our current customers and increasing their loyalty to the T-Mobile brand."
Discount tickets
All festival-goers can look forward to various attractive offers. The sale of "Mobile Tickets" starts next week at www.t-music.cz. T-Mobile customers will only pay CZK 1,040 for the ticket, which is CZK 300 less compared with the standard price at ticket agencies. Every customer may only buy two festival tickets for the discounted price. The number of discount tickets is limited.
The tickets will be delivered to the buyers directly on their mobile phones in the form of MMS. Festival-goers do not thus have to stand in long queues to collect their tickets, as they will have everything they need for the festival in their mobile phones. If a mobile phone does not enable MMS, the ticket will be delivered in the form of SMS.
t-music sky and t-music zone
The largest Czech mobile operator will take good care of its customers on the festival premises in Hradec Králové. Like last year, the festival-goers will be able to use a free information SMS channel which will supply them with the latest festival information.
Right next to the t-music stage, which will host popular bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party and Underworld, festival-goers can visit a two-storey marquee called "t-music sky" where, in addition to a great bar, they can enjoy a unique view of the stage. Every evening after the end of the official program, t-music sky will host an afterparty with free entry for T-Mobile customers who have activated the SMS info channel, where all visitors can party until early morning hours.
The popular t-music zone will definitely not be missing at this year's Rock for People. It will provide many useful services such as the recharge corner equipped with chargers for all types of handsets, free internet access via Internet 4G and table foosball. Visitors will get an inflatable seat (also a drink holder) and can view interviews with the festival headliners. In the event of rainy weather, they will be able to buy raincoats directly on the spot.
