From 8 November, thanks to the incoming roaming service, owners of Paegas Twist pre-paid cards will be able to receive calls even on their travels abroad. Customers can now use their Paegas mobile telephones on the networks of 154 operators in 75 countries on all five inhabited continents of the globe, because RadioMobil has secured the largest number of roaming agreements among operators in the Czech Republic. "We are well aware of the fact that GSM telephone customers want to be able to use their telephone not only at home, but also on trips abroad. Therefore, we are doing all we can to make it possible for our customers to use GSM services literally all over the world," said Tereza Kakosová, press spokeswoman for RadioMobil a.s.
"After the first phase, when in August and September we offered pre-paid card users the possibility to receive calls in Europe in the framework of the special campaign Twist around Europe, we are now introducing a service that is no longer limited to one continent. The marketing campaign is therefore called The Planet belongs to Twist," said Robert Chvátal, Marketing Director of RadioMobil a.s., commenting on the launch of the service. To be able to use the roaming service, the customer has merely to activate free of charge the incoming calls abroad service before departure via the information line (4603).
As a result, all Paegas customers can now use their mobile telephones all over the world. Furthermore, thanks to the low prices of international calls in the Paegas network, RadioMobils customers play dramatically less than customers of other Czech mobile telephone operators for receiving incoming calls abroad (on average 40 per cent less and, in some cases, as much as 90 per cent less). When using roaming, the customer pays for incoming calls on the basis of the prices of international calls of the his or her own operator.
RadioMobil a.s. is the operator of the GSM network called Paegas. The Paegas GSM network now covers more than 97% of the Czech Republic. Customers can now take their Paegas GSM mobile telephones to 75 different countries around the world and use roaming services via 154 operators. At the end of October, there were more than 700,000 customers of the Paegas GSM network.
