Take Advantage of a Week of Free Paegas Info Services
- From 5 to 11 March, the users of GSM Paegas network may use the Paegas Info services for free
- It is a form of saying thanks to all customers for overstepping the boundary of two million clients
- Number of infochannels within Paegas Info is constantly growing: the last addition are timetables of city transportation
From Monday, 5 March to midnight on Sunday 11 March, all owners of Paegas mobile phones including users of the prepaid service Paegas Twist may use all Paegas Info infochannels free of charge. RadioMobil has prepared this campaign as a way of saying thanks for overstepping the boundary of two million customers at the end of February 2001. "We have been looking for such a form of saying thanks which absolutely all of our customers could take advantage of, and I think we have chosen the right thing, as the Paegas Info services are very popular and regularly used by more than 25 per cent of our clients," said the Managing Director of RadioMobil Roland Mahler.
During the second week in March, the users pay only for the SMS message sent to order the information and do not pay any fee for the information received within the Paegas Info service. If they order information via the Internet on the website www.click.cz, they will save on sending an ordering text message. Today, Paegas Info offers a wide range of information channels focused on various topics. It owes a great deal of its popularity to the usage of Paegas SIM Toolkit that is included in all SIM cards with the Paegas logo. Obtaining an information by means of the SIM Toolkit application is as easy as reading a standard SMS message. The Paegas Info service today offers a variety of 60 infochannels (cinema programs, flight, bus, train and city transportation timetables, news overview, commercial register, currency exchange rates, jokes, and many others). Part of it are also the Paegas Info Plus channels which allow the customer to receive information whenever something happens (ÄŚTK news, traffic situationâ??). Information are then sent automatically at every update. Only the users of regular tariff programs can use the Paegas Info Plus service, not the owners of prepaid cards.
By means of the Paegas Click service the client can also set an exact time when the information is to be sent. In the morning - at 7.10 he/she receives a weather forecast, at eight a.m. every working day a news overview, a joke at noon and at seven p.m. a film tip. Easily - be it via Paegas Click or via Paegas SIM Toolkit - he/she can also activate any of the Paegas Info Plus services. Each new information such as a new road closure, icy road or radar, is automatically sent to everybody who has ordered the traffic channel. If the users set this sending of news, they are charged a fee according to the price lists of individual infochannels for each received message. Nevertheless, from 5 to 11 March also these services are free of charge.
City Transportation Timetables
Since March, a new Paegas Info channel is available that serves for finding out information on city transportation timetables in 24 Czech cities. Their number should gradually increase. Detailed instructions for the use of the new channel as well as all the others can be found on the Paegas website in the Services section, under Paegas Info. Brochures with a detailed description of services can be obtained at Paegas brand shops and points of sales of Paegas services.
Voting in TV Programs via SMS
Owners of Paegas mobile phones can contribute to five separate programs of the Czech Television via SMS short text messages. They can contribute to the selection of a video in the program Neváhej a toÄŤ, vote for music videos in the programs Medúza and POP 2001, and express their opinions on current social issues which are discussed in the publicistic weekly Bez imunity and in the program ÄŚerná a bílá. The viewers can vote anytime, only in the case of the weekly Bez imunity the votes are registered only during the broadcast. Detailed information can be found in the respective TV programs and on the teletext.
