Prague, 11 March 2008 - Skyline, a popular electronica band, will soon release its fourth full-length album, Escapism, and is preparing to set out on their t-music Skyline Tour. This tour will introduce the songs from the new album and support them with a special light show and stage effects. Thanks to t-music, users of the BAV SE tariff plan can attend some of the concerts completely free of charge.
The six-member group, which includes two rappers and a charismatic singer, is currently one of the top Czech electronica bands after years of hard work and intensive touring. The immense popularity of Skyline is largely a result of their amazing, energetic concerts, selling out clubs as well as luring masses of visitors to the Czech festivals at which the band appears. With the recently released album, and also thanks to support from t-music, the concerts during the current tour will take place in larger venues with high-quality technical equipment and special offers for concertgoers.
The band will play at seven prominent places around the Czech Republic, including the big hall at Prague's Lucerna, where the band's new album will be launched on Thursday, 17 April. As the band is based in Prague, they are looking forward to performing for their hometown fans. The show will take place in the middle of the tour, which starts on Tuesday, 8 April, in Brno and ends on Wednesday, 23 April, in České Budějovice. In addition to the tour dates, the band will also give several additional performances in various clubs around the country.
For each of the tour dates, the band's members will select a local band from among the profiles available at the www.stage.cz portal, where young and promising artists can post their songs and videos and their contact information so that concert organizers can reach them.
Concertgoers will also get plenty of bonuses, such as free ringtones, unique signature cards and the possibility to buy tickets to the Rock for People summer festival at discounted prices.
Tickets to concerts during the "t-music Skyline Tour" will be very affordable: CZK 150 in Prague and CZK 120 in other cities. This does not apply to users of the BAV SE tariff plan, who can go to the concerts free of charge.
The Escapism album will be released on 25 March together with the concert DVD Live at Fléda. The sound of the album will be very close to that of the live recording as the band produced it themselves in their own studio built specially for this purpose.
Even though the new album will be released in late March, a few highlights can be heard on Skyline's profile at the Stage website (www.stage.cz/skyline). Videos will be added to the profile soon. After the album's release, unabridged songs will be available for download at the t-music PLAY! e-shop.
