Prague, 29 January 2009 - The biggest Czech music chart and the only chart broadcast on TV, radio and the internet, has undergone several changes. It will be hosted by a new presenter, Marcela Skřivánková, and its broadcast time will be moved from Friday to Thursday evening.
TV viewers will be able to watch the t-music chart each Thursday at 6 p.m. on ÓČKO TV. The program will be repeated on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 8 p.m. Another change in the TV version will be the new presenter. "The new hostess will be Marcela Skřivánková, an unknown 23-year-old," says Zuzana Kadlečková, Senior Head of Sponsorship at T-Mobile.
The radio version of the chart has also undergone changes. Music fans will be able to listen to the top 20 hits on Evropa 2, also each Thursday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and each Sunday at 6 p.m. The live radio broadcast will continue to be presented by Libor Bouček.
The t-music chart is a two-hour program highlighting the week's top 20 songs and four new tracks. The ranking of the songs is determined by the votes of TV viewers and radio listeners. In 2009, there will be a new rule for voting - it will no longer be possible to send votes via SMS and music fans will be able to vote for their favorite hits only at www.t-music, free of charge.
