T-Mobile TV now even more affordable

• Monthly fee of only CZK 399 valid for TV Standard plan activations until the end of March
• TV Standard plan without a satellite receiver and dish permanently available for only CZK 299 per month
• CZK 1,000 discount on satellite equipment with activation of TV Start

Prague, 10 March 2011 – With spring approaching, T-Mobile has set new prices of the T‑Mobile TV service. Customers can look forward not only to special March discounts but also to a permanent reduction of the monthly fee for the TV Standard plan. Subscribers wishing to activate TV Start will also benefit from lower prices, as the price of satellite equipment has been reduced by CZK 1,000. 

“The price adjustment is in response to the needs of customers who decided to switch from their existing TV provider to T-Mobile. These users can keep their satellite dish and set-top box and benefit from the reduced monthly fee of only CZK 299, including free activation and a TV card,” says Jiří Hašek, Vice President Category & Product Management at T-Mobile. 

March – dedicated to satellite TV
T-Mobile has prepared a special March offer for customers who are planning to purchase complete satellite equipment together with activation of the Standard plan: users signing a two-year contract by the end of March will pay a monthly fee of CZK 399 incl. VAT during the whole contract term instead of the standard price of CZK 449 incl. VAT. The benefits of the TV Standard plan include no activation fee, a satellite receiver and dish for CZK 1 incl. VAT and installation at the discounted price of CZK 499 incl. VAT. 

In addition, customers ordering the TV Standard plan will automatically receive a free three-month trial of the HD bundle (which includes Eurosport HD, Nova Sport HD, FILMBOX HD, History HD, Discovery HD, Brava HD, Travel Channel HD and Penthouse HD) offering TV channels in the highest available picture and sound quality. 

Special prices available not only for hardware owners
A reduced price will also be available to owners of a satellite receiver and dish who are planning to purchase only the TV card for the T-Mobile TV service. If they decide to activate the TV Standard plan and sign a contract for a fixed term of two years, they will pay a monthly fee of only CZK 299 incl. VAT. In addition, they will get the TV card and activation completely free of charge. 

Customers wishing to activate the TV Start plan will save money too. For the complete set including a satellite receiver, Start TV card and dish, they will now pay CZK 4,999 instead of the original CZK 5,999 incl. VAT. The combination of the Start TV card and a satellite receiver is now also CZK 1,000 cheaper (CZK 4,499 incl. VAT). The price of the Start TV card has also been reduced from the original CZK 1,599 to CZK 1,499 incl. VAT.
