T-Mobile TV - installation for CZK 1

Prague, 12 April 2011 – The TV feast at T-Mobile continues. Customers ordering the TV Standard plan in the period from 1 April to 30 June 2011 will pay only CZK 1 for installation. In addition, the validity of the special discount on the monthly fee for the TV Standard plan has been extended until the end of June: when signing a two-year contract, the monthly fee is only CZK 399 (or CZK 299 if customers have their own satellite set). And newly introduced channels will make evenings at home even more enjoyable. 

Those wishing to get satellite TV should turn to T-Mobile, as the operator is offering a satellite dish with a receiver that supports HD-quality broadcasting and allows recording of programmes on a USB disk, all for just CZK 1. The fee for installation of the whole set is also only CZK 1. All customers need to do is sign a two-year contract for the TV Standard plan. 

Another reason to choose T-Mobile is the operator’s introduction of new TV channels that can be tuned in beginning in April. Every customer can thus make their evenings at home even more enjoyable with their choice of movies on HBO Comedy, documentaries on Spektrum HD and National Wild HD, sports programmes on Sport 2 and cooking programmes on Paprika, to name just a few. T-Mobile TV now offers more than 60 channels in the Czech language and digital quality and hundreds of other channels in foreign languages. 

Customers interested in activating the T-Mobile satellite TV service may choose from two plans. The TV Standard plan offers more than 40 channels in Czech and hundreds of others in foreign languages. With a 24-month contract, the monthly fee is CZK 399; the whole set costs CZK 1. 

The other alternative is T-Mobile TV Start which includes the basic channels in digital quality, Czech Television (ČT) and Nova in HD quality and hundreds of channels in foreign languages. Existing users of voice services can make use of a special offer – when extending their contract with a voice tariff plan, they can purchase the basic set (satellite receiver + dish + TV card) with the TV Start plan for prices starting at CZK 3 instead of buying a subsidized handset. The full price of the satellite set is otherwise CZK 4,999.

In connection with the extension of the channel offer during April, Skylink (operator of the satellite platform) has announced that some of the channels (Nova HD, Nova Sport HD, TV Barrandov, Retro Music TV and Golf Channel) will be provided on different frequencies.
