T-Mobile TV: even better and more colourful

Prague, 9 June 2011 – For some, the TV season ends with the coming of summer; for T-Mobile, it is just beginning. Starting this Sunday, customers can choose from the new offer of plans and brand-new bundles of TV channels for a month or day. Beginning 1 July, it will be possible to combine satellite TV with a voice plan (in a 2v1 bundle) or also with fixed-line internet access (in a 3v1 bundle) and thus save a significant amount on monthly fees.

“We are continuing to expand the offer as well as the possibilities of T-Mobile TV,” says Petr Dvořák, T‑Mobile’s Marketing Director, adding: “This is why we are introducing new bundles and will offer even more attractive prices beginning in July, whether in combination in 2v1 and 3v1 bundles or thanks to the solution for households with two televisions.”

From Sunday, 12 June, the current offer of TV Start and TV Standard plans will be expanded to include the TV Premium plan. As its name suggests, it will include all channels available via T-Mobile TV, including optional bundles. Users can thus enjoy more than 60 channels in the Czech language, 17 HD channels, premium movie channels and adult channels.

For a monthly fee of CZK 1,199 incl. VAT, customers who have signed a two-year contract will be able to enjoy a great amount of TV entertainment and they will also receive a satellite receiver that supports HD‑quality broadcasting for CZK 1 and a TV card free of charge. Until 30 June, installation will also be free; after that it will cost CZK 499 incl. VAT.

Channels for the entire family or for adults only
Modifications will also be made to the bundles of special channels. The current offer will be expanded with the Rodina (“Family”) bundle bringing sports, documentary and lifestyle channels and Erotika (“Erotica”), now with the popular Hustler TV. The Rodina bundle will cost CZK 99 incl. VAT per month and will be available only with the TV Standard plan. The adult bundle can also be purchased with the TV Standard plan and will cost CZK 199.

Customers who would like to first try out the channels or watch only a selected programme can activate one-day variants of the HD and Erotika bundles. The former will cost CZK 99 incl. VAT, the latter CZK 69 incl. VAT.

New in July: T-Mobile TV combined in 2v1 and 3v1 bundles
Beginning 1 July, customers can combine most of the T-Mobile voice plans with the TV Standard plan in a 2v1 bundle. They will thus get a discount on the TV Standard plan as they will pay CZK 349 incl. VAT per month if they conclude a two-year contract, saving CZK 100 compared with the standard price of CZK 449 incl. VAT.

If a household uses not only mobile voice services but also fixed-line internet services provided by T‑Mobile, they can make use of the 3v1 bundle. Thanks to bundling the services, they can have Internet ADSL Standard without a fixed line and TV Standard for one special price starting at CZK 748 incl. VAT per month. The discount for the combination of both services can be up to CZK 400 incl. VAT.

New in July: Duo TV card for a second television
The nearly one-third of Czech households with two televisions might appreciate the new offer by T-Mobile – the Duo TV card, which from 1 July will allow them to use satellite TV also on their second television without having to install a second satellite dish and pay a second monthly fee. The activation fee for the Duo TV card is CZK 499. For a monthly fee of CZK 80 incl. VAT, customers can watch all ordered channels, including bundles, on both televisions.

The operator is naturally offering customers the possibility to purchase the necessary equipment for a special price. For example, when concluding a two-year contract for the TV Premium plan, customers can get everything they need, including two receivers, for just CZK 499 incl. VAT; in the case of the TV Standard plan, they will pay CZK 1,999 incl. VAT.
