Prague, 11^th November 2019 - T-Mobile is improving its television offer. With the brand new T-Mobile TV GO app, customers enjoy better-quality TV entertainment than with terrestrial broadcasting DVB-T/DVB-T2. A novelty is the support of Smart TV and T-Mobile also has a new set-top box with Android TV and is increasing the number of devices T-Mobile TV can be watched on.

In addition to the modern environment, the new T-Mobile TV GO application offers a lot of interesting functionalities. In the application, the user simply finds, for example, an overview of the programs currently being broadcast on the most watched stations or a selection of a television program in prime time. T-Mobile TV GO will also allow you to go back in the TV program up to 7 days and continue watching the watched programs from the previous days. There is also the opportunity to watch their recorded programs or films from the Video Library.

The new application is common not only for all TV services from T-Mobile, but also for all devices on which TV content can be viewed: mobile, tablet, internet browser, set-top box. And now also for smart TVs.

T-Mobile TV for smart TVs

T-Mobile TV GO is now available for Philips Smart TVs running Android TV (version 6 and above), for Samsung Smart TV version (year 2017 and later) will be available for download in the next few days. Customers no longer need a set-top box and can watch T-Mobile TV directly after logging in on their TV. Just download T-Mobile TV GO directly from the TV application store. Support for other operating systems for smart TVs (including webOS) and Android TV from other manufacturers will follow next year.

Users can also download T-Mobile TV GO to their Android and iOS mobile devices. It can also continue to watch shows when switching from different devices, such as mobile to tablet, TV to mobile, etc.

TV on up to four devices at once

Watching TV is no longer the privilege of just the couch in front of the TV. This is one of the reasons why T-Mobile is increasing the number of devices on which T-Mobile TV can be viewed free of charge, from 3 to 4. The viewers can now broadcast on two TVs and 4 other devices, whether they are smartphones, tablets, computer or Smart TV app. Customers with mobile T-Mobile TV can continue to use two devices.

New set-top box

The new app will also be accompanied by a new OTT set-top box (KAON 6077) with Android TV. In addition to pre-installed applications such as HBO GO, users can download their favorite apps like Youtube, Spotify and other which are available for Android TV. With the new set-top box, every TV becomes smart. Monthly rent of set-top box is CZK 50 with VAT.

The new version of T-Mobile TV GO is now available for new TV users. Existing customers will be gradually transitioned to the new application in the coming months.

T-Mobile TV for 30 days for free for new customers

For those who do not have experience with T-Mobile TV services (including competitors), the application also offers the opportunity to try T-Mobile TV GO for 30 days free of charge. In this trial version of the package, all standard functionality and a selected set of TV stations will be available.
