Premium version of the Eset antivirus application available free of charge for one year
LTE-enabled Huawei tablet with the Sdílený internet plan for CZK 299 per month
Tips and advice regarding safe use of the internet and protection of customers’ personal data
The central topic of T-Mobile's February offer will be data security with focus on the fastest mobile internet network, LTE. The operator will offer its customers the usually paid premium version of the Eset antivirus application free of charge for one year and an LTE-enabled tablet that can be purchased for the initial price of CZK 1, while the subsequent monthly cost of the device together with the Sdílený internet (“Shared Internet”) plan will be CZK 299. The campaign will also be centred on educating customers in data security through, among other things, a dedicated microsite at www.t-mobile.cz/vevasichsluzbach. The campaign will again feature actor Ivan Trojan, this time as a secret agent.
“Security of our customer’s data is of paramount importance to us. Therefore we want to point out the advantages of our mobile networks, in particular LTE, also in this respect and to further improve the security of our customers’ smartphones and tablets with an offer of free antivirus protection,” says Dana Tomášková, Vice President Resident Marketing at T-Mobile, adding: “We will also provide our customers with tips regarding safe user behaviour on the internet, thus helping them to minimise potential security risks.”
Until 30 April 2015, the operator is offering all its customers the premium version of the Eset antivirus program for Android-powered smartphones and tablets free of charge for one year (its usual price is CZK 289 per year). All T-Mobile customers can activate this benefit easily directly in the application settings after downloading it.
The February offer also includes the practical Huawei MediaPad T1 LTE tablet with the Sdílený internet plan for CZK 299 per month. The price is composed of CZK 99 for the Sdílený internet service and the monthly instalment of CZK 200 for the tablet (i.e. customers will pay CZK 1 on the spot and then 23 monthly instalments). The basic price of the tablet is CZK 4,601.
