Prague, 3 July 2008 - On 4 July, T-Mobile will launch the new top-class Nokia 6650 handset. In addition to the GPS navigation service, comprehensive multimedia features and the Symbian S60 operating system, the handset offers full integrated support for the T-Mobile Mých5 and web'n'walk services, thus enabling much easier use of these services to all users of this new Nokia handset which has been produced exclusively for the T-Mobile.
The new handset has a slim, attractive metal design with neat lines trimming the outer 1.36" color display with 128x160 resolution. Inside is a 2.2" 240x320 pixel display with up to 16 million colors, making the use of mobile internet service with the T-Mobile web'n'walk application even more enjoyable. The phone's multimedia features include a 2Mpix camera with flash, multimedia player, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, and FM radio displaying the names of radio stations via RDS.
The handset's battery has a capacity of 1500 mAh, thus allowing talk time of more than four hours on a single charge. Users of mid-range mobile phones can enjoy a new feature with the Nokia 6650, namely the GPS navigation service, which includes the Nokia Mapy 2.0 application offering both standard and satellite views and a special navigation tool for use when walking. As a special bonus, T-Mobile customers can enjoy voice navigation for one month free of charge.
As of 4 July 2008, the Nokia 6650 handset will be available exclusively to T-Mobile customers at prices starting from CZK 1,999 or for an unsubsidized price of CZK 6,899 incl. VAT.
