T-Mobile: simplified roaming charges

• The end of complicated price lists with hundreds of different prices
• Zone-based Happy Roaming for all users, possibility of activating the Cestovatel (Traveller) or WorldClass roaming add-ons
• WorldClass Roaming now also includes Slovakia and Croatia

Prague, 16 March 2006 - As of 1 April, roaming rates for T-Mobile contract customers will be simpler and more transparent. The existing Standard Roaming service will be terminated at the end of March and will be replaced with zone-based roaming. The prices of calls made from abroad will thus not differ according to the selected operator in a given country, destination or time of call. T-Mobile has been offering zone-based roaming rates since 2004 under the name Happy Roaming. With Happy Roaming, customers can now also activate the Cestovatel or WorldClass add-ons. Effective 1 April, the number of countries in which customers can use the WorldClass add-on will be increased to also include Slovakia and Croatia.

T-Mobile contract customers will therefore not have to go through complicated price lists before their holidays abroad and search for the operator which offers the cheapest prices of SMS and calls in a given country. Nor will they have to worry about the time of day at which they make their calls or about the current exchange rate for the crown having an impact on their phone bill. Happy Roaming rates are based on four geographical areas and calls from all countries in a given area are charged at uniform rates. These fixed rates also apply to incoming calls, SMS, MMS and GPRS.

The simplified structure is more transparent and enables customers to be certain about the prices of calls made from abroad.

Customers who have so far been using Standard Roaming will be automatically transferred to Happy Roaming on 1 April. In addition to benefiting from the simplified billing of roaming services, they will also be able to activate the Cestovatel roaming add-on which has thus far not been available to users of Standard Roaming.

Cestovatel offers unrivalled prices of calls made from the nine T-Mobile networks abroad, i.e. Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Poland (ERA network), the Netherlands, Great Britain and the USA. Outgoing calls are charged at CZK 4/minute excl. VAT (CZK 4.76 incl. VAT) plus a call-set up fee of CZK 29 excl. VAT (34.51 incl. VAT). Incoming calls are charged at only the price of the call-set up fee.

Those who wish to save on calls within Europe can activate the Evropa roaming bundle. For CZK 375 excl. VAT (446.25 incl. VAT), they will receive 15 free minutes for incoming calls and outgoing calls within the visited country and to the Czech Republic. One minute thus costs CZK 25 excl. VAT (29.75 incl. VAT). This bundle can be used in all European countries, except for Russia and Ukraine.

With Happy Roaming, customers can also activate the WorldClass add-on, which is subject to the following changes as of 1 April:

WorldClass also in Slovakia and Croatia
As of April, the WorldClass add-on offering calls for the favourable price of CZK 19 may also be used in Slovakia and Croatia. This add-on allows you to call from abroad to the Czech Republic, as well as to other WorldClass countries for a flat rate of CZK 19/min excl. VAT (22.61 incl. VAT). In each WorldClass country, there is one partner network within which callers pay the aforesaid favourable price (As of 1 April, there will be changes to the preferred partner networks in six countries: Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, Greece, Spain and Switzerland).

With this add-on, customers can call for CZK 19/min from 24 countries in Europe and the USA. The WorldClass add-on cannot be combined with Cestovatel.
