Prague, 1 December 2011 – After several years, T-Mobile is opening its doors to new partners. Within the expansion of the partner shop network, the operator is offering cooperation to other vendors who would like to link their shop with the T-Mobile brand and is planning to open 30 new partner shops for its customers across the Czech Republic.
“Most customers still give priority to the traditional purchasing methods – they thus prefer visiting a standard brick-and-mortar shop to other forms of buying. Our aim is to ensure maximum accessibility of our POS network and thus to have satisfied customers,” says Jan Roule, Vice President Residential Sales at T‑Mobile, adding: “We will welcome new partners primarily in the locations where there are no such brick-and-mortar shops yet.”
The company has been continuously improving its network of shops. Although it has an extensive distribution network, an internal survey has revealed hidden opportunities in certain areas of the Czech Republic. The importance of partner shops, currently totalling 76, is thus growing and they have become a key sales channel. The operator will appreciate the cooperation with new shops in both regional capitals and smaller towns.
What are the advantages of a T-Mobile partner shop?
This is a business model wherein the right to use the T-Mobile brand is transferred to a business entity with which the operator signs a frame contract. A clear advantage is the link with the T-Mobile brand. Therefore this is a great opportunity for beginning entrepreneurs to start a business without a prolonged trial-and-error period and with the certainty of support from an established telecommunications operator. Existing businesses then can broaden their horizons with a new business area, acquire new know-how and new marketing procedures, and make use of other interesting benefits.
The operator will also arrange for interior design of the shop and will provide furniture and fittings. Via the partner, the operator will offer its services and products supported by attractive marketing activities. Vendors will receive the required sales systems, including the necessary reports, and will also benefit from significant support from T-Mobile's regional managers when starting their business. Vendors will also be provided with regular trainings in communication, sales processes, and use of applications, services and products.
Prospective business partners can register at www.t-mobile.cz/partnerskeprodejny. A selection procedure will then be organised in every region. All registered applicants from the individual locations will be contacted via e-mail. Those who advance to the next round will receive an e-mail with detailed information about the start of the selection procedure.
