Prague, 12 June 2009 - T-Mobile achieved notable success in this year's edition of the respected Employer of the Year competition, where it was recognized for excellence in the main category, as well as in the HR Person of the Year and Personnel Project of the Year categories. T-Mobile also scored highly in the Most Desired Company category, which is judged by university students.
T-Mobile ranked second in the Sodexo competition's main category Employer of the Year, behind Hewlett-Packard. "We are very pleased with second place in the competition after the last year's triumph. At the same time, it is a confirmation for us that our company's employee-care program is appreciated not only by our employees but also by the expert public," says Barbora Stejskalová, Executive Vice President Human Resources at T-Mobile.
Barbora Stejskalová won first prize in the HR Person of the Year category, whose winner is selected by a jury of human-resources specialists.
T-Mobile received another "golden award" in the Personnel Project of the Year category for its Healthy Company Program, which is focused on three key areas: prevention, lifestyle promoting healthy eating habits and work safety.
