Prague, 19 December 2002 â?" T-Mobile acknowledges insufficient communication of rules of the Rolling Crowns Christmas competition and decides to immediately reduce the price of sending the competition SMS and to retrospectively compensate the difference in prices of the competition SMS which have been sent to date.
â?śFor our company, the customer always comes first and her/his trust in us is binding. We have to acknowledge that we did not make sufficient use of all information channels available in the case of the Rolling Mellons competition. Thus, some customers may have competed without having been familiar with the complete competition rules. Therefore, the competition SMS will be charged according to the respective tariff of the customerâ?ť, says Roland Mahler, Managing Director of RadioMobil.
Two kinds of measures have been adopted. The first one is the change in the price of sending the competition SMS. As of today (19 December), SMS sent to 2412 are charged according to the respective tariffs of particular customers. The second one is the retrospective compensation of credits (in the case of Twist customers) or crediting (in the case of contract customers) the difference in prices of SMS sent from the beginning of the competition (1 December 2002) until today to the account of the customers or against the amounts to be charged in the Statements of Services applying to December.
The retrospective compensation of prices of the competition SMS will be completed by the end of January 2003. For information concerning the measures adopted, call 4603 (infoline) or visit www.melounysevali.cz.
