Prague, 9 May 2007 - T-Mobile has helped prepare a unique event for all fans of hip hop and urban culture for this summer - the t-music Hip Hop Jam music festival. The airport in Mimoň in North Bohemia will host some of the best Czech and foreign hip hop acts on 3 and 4 August. Concertgoers can look forward to such well-known icons as David Banner and The Game. And an extensive accompanying program will ensure that no one finds the event less attractive than similar foreign festivals. In addition, those who buy a Sony Ericsson W880i music phone will obtain free ticket for two persons to the event as a gift.
As a general partner of the festival, T-Mobile ensures that the festival is one of the best hip hop events of this year. The names in the line-up include first-rate artists whose appearance at the festival guarantees a high-quality event: the crunk icon David Banner (USA) will warm up the audience and pave the way for The Game (USA), a world-famous west-coast rapper who will be headliner of the t-music Hip Hop Jam festival.
Apart from the biggest names, there will be a number of excellent Czech bands taking the stage throughout the festival: PSH, Indy & Witch, Kontrafakt, Supercrooo, Pio Squad, H16 and many others will perform. And about twenty of the most highly regarded Czech urban-music DJs will rock the dancefloor in two top-class party zones: Black Star DJs (DJ Orion, DJ Mike Trafik), Platinum Soul DJs (DJ Omar, DJ Abdul 52, DJ Enemy, DJ Double J), Farmhood Fellaz (DJ Aphect, DJ Brainythug), War Trak Posse (DJ Noir, DJ Jorgos, DJ Kolack), Funky Doggz Squad (DJ Rawal, DJ L.P.D.), Blind Deaf DJs (DJ Maztah, DJane Sarah, DJ DTonate) and RnB Paradise DJs (DJ Beax, DJ Rikardo, DJ Rockstar).
An extensive accompanying program will also be provided at the t-music Hip Hop Jam: there will be cocktail bars, chill out zones, coffee rooms and other places available for entertainment and relaxation whose aim is to provide the attendees with as much comfort as possible. One example is the Battle Zone in a colosseum-shaped space for fans of break dancing and street dancing. The planned shows also include dancing exhibitions and dance battles for attractive prizes, sets by foreign DJs, etc. Those who visit the festival can look forward to the Clique Graffiti Jam as well as quite a few surprises.
T-Mobile will also open to visitors a t-music hip hop zone that will include the traditional top-up corner for mobile phones, free internet access and other handy services that will be disclosed soon.
Advanced sale was launched on 2 May through Ticketstream (www.ticketstream.cz), Ticketpro (www.ticketpro.cz), CK Čedok, CK Firo Tour and Globus hypermarkets. All information about the festival is available at www.t-music.cz.
In connection with the festival, T-Mobile has prepared a special offer in co-operation with Sony Ericsson, another partner of the festival. All customers who buy a Sony Ericsson W880i between 1 May and 30 June will receive free ticket for two persons to the t-music Hip Hop Jam festival as a gift.
The latest Sony Ericsson handset plus the free ticket can be obtained in T-Mobile Shops and partner shops, at the T-Mobile eShop on the internet and from dealers. The Sony Ericsson W880i mobile phone is the latest representative of the stylish Walkman family that will instantly appeal to users due to its outstanding music player, extra-thin design and, in particular, the unique TrackID application for identifying music tracks. The phone also includes a 2MPix camera.
Hip hop fans can already play music from the festival on their mobile phones. The t-music portal offers the new album by The Game, the headliner of the event. The portal includes songs, ringtones and many other features.
With T-Mobile, hip hop fans have a unique opportunity to get a great mobile phone and, at the same time, ticket for two persons to the Hip Hop Jam festival that will take place at the Mimoň airport on 3 and 4 August.
