T-Mobile: partnership with the Czech national football team continues

  • T-Mobile to remain the general partner until 2012

Prague, 31 August 2010 - T-Mobile remains the general partner of the Czech national football team. The contract between the operator and STES, the holder of advertising and marketing rights of The Football Association of the Czech Republic, was extended earlier this week. Successful cooperation between the partners will thus continue until at least 2012.

"The T-Mobile brand has been associated with the Czech national football team since 1998. We are great fans and we want to support football at the time when a new national team is being formed," says Miroslav Rakowski, Customer Services & Sales Director at T-Mobile, adding: "We are looking forward to the upcoming EURO 2012 qualification during which we will involve our customers in the football events like never before."

When signing the contract, Ivan Hašek, President of The Football Association of the Czech Republic, said: "T-Mobile has been a partner of The Football Association of the Czech Republic for a long time. It is also one of its most important partners, and we are therefore very happy to extend the contract until 2012. We hope that the support of such a strong partner will help us succeed in the EURO 2012 qualification."
