The operator is launching a new brand – T-Mobile Osobně
Visits at customers’ premises upon previous consent or order
Transparency of consultants and conclusion of agreements confirmed by phone
The magenta operator is launching T-Mobile Osobně (“T-Mobile Personal Care”) today under a separate brand, which is intended especially for customers in remote areas. The operator’s consultants will visit existing and prospective customers at their homes. The brand complements the existing sales and customer care channels and is based on a high level of transparency. A similar service has been provided with a positive response from customers by a number of European operators from Deutsche Telekom Group.
“We understand that for a number of customers, it’s a relatively long way to a T-Mobile shop. Therefore we have come up with a service that will enable customers to, among other things, arrange a visit by a consultant at their home at the time that suits them best,” says Milan Morávek, Vice President Retail and D2D Sale at T-Mobile, adding: “Experience from Deutsche Telekom’s similar services in other countries shows that customers appreciate that the operator comes to them with consultations and offers, thus saving them time.”
Consultants will visit customers particularly in order to inform them of the Pevný internet (“Fixed-Line Internet”) service with access via LTE, which enables the use of high-speed fixed-line internet access also in areas where this service was not previously available. Each such visit should be preceded by the granting of consent by homeowner or – in the case of municipalities – by the mayor. People can also order T-Mobile Osobně by themselves, by means of the service’s webpage within the T-Mobile website. If an order is placed during the visit, it will be subsequently confirmed by phone; no agreement will be implemented without the customer’s consent verified in such a manner.
The identity of all T-Mobile Osobně representatives can be easily verified – their names, including photographs, can be found on the service’s webpage; in addition to clothing and work equipment in the brand colours, consultants will also have their identification cards with them. Beginning today, you can meet T-Mobile Osobně consultants in the Brno and Plzeň regions and in the suburban areas of Prague and Ústí nad Labem. The operator is planning to cover the entire territory of the Czech Republic by the end of the year.
Similar services are provided by T-Mobile’s seven sister companies in the European part of Deutsche Telekom Group, including Slovak Telekom. With the variant called Telekom Doma (“Telekom at Home”), its representatives annually visit one-third of the roughly 3.5 million households in Slovakia. More than 90% of orders are subsequently confirmed upon telephone verification. Approximately 13% of the total volume of sales to Slovak Telekom’s residential customers are made via Telekom Doma.
