T- MOBILE OFFERS THE BEST MOBILE NETWORK IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

  • „Best in Test” seal awarded for an excellent result 932 points out of 1000 by P3 communications
  • TMCZ best in all measured categories – voice, data, crowd-sourced quality 

Prague, 28. November 2018 - According to the latest prestigious network testing by P3 held in October 2018, T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. (TMCZ) achieved the best results in the overall test. The operator scored the most points (932 out of 1000) and was awarded with Best-in-Test seal. The three main Czech networks were part of the test with TMCZ scoring excellent 932 points, followed by other operators with 904 and 885 points in final results. TMCZ won in voice and data categories, well ahead of competitors, and proved the high quality of its network in all monitored geographical categories (cities, towns and roads).

At the end of the day, the most important thing for us in T-Mobile is real customer experience.

The quality of network, its capacity, stability and safety belongs to T-Mobile´s main focuses. In 2018, the Operator has worked intensively on the coverage of the first part of Prague´s underground, enhanced it NB- IoT network, improved its Fixed-Line Internet over the Air service or introduced Plug-In Fixed-Line Internet service.

In Voice service, T-Mobile achieved 323 points out of 340, being far ahead from his competitors (296 and 285 points) in all measured categories (roads, towns and cities). T-Mobile performance is characterized by best call reliability and the shortest call setup time and best speech quality results.

Also, the measurements in data services prove T-Mobile offers highest quality service reaching 484 points out of 510 (the competitors gained 481 and 476 points). The Operator achieved best results in all measured categories – e.g. web browsing, file download and upload and YouTube – in cities and on the roads. According to P3 all three Czech operators have excellent reliability for all data services. T-Mobile takes the lead in averaged download throughput results on the roads and shows fastest averaged upload throughput. 

Test methodic

The recent test realized in the Czech Republic between October 11 – 26, 2018 included measurements in 12 cities, 23 towns and on connecting roads. The detailed test includes measurements and evaluation of many parameters like file downloads and uploads, the time required for internet pages loading, YouTube videos loading and streaming.
