T-Mobile: new fixed-line services for businesses

Prague, 5 October 2011 – T-Mobile has updated its portfolio of fixed-line internet and voice services for business customers, which is effective from 1 October 2011. The new Profi ADSL, Profi SHDSL, Voice Line and Multi Voice Line services are full-fledged replacements of the original products carried over from České Radiokomunikace. T-Mobile has thus taken another important step on the path to becoming a fully integrated telecommunications operator and is now offering a full range of fixed-line, mobile, data and voice services. 

"The new services are intended for business customers for whom communication is of key importance. Therefore guaranteed service quality is also included," says Jiří Hašek, Vice President Category and Product Management at T-Mobile, adding: "Business customers do not have to take care of anything as T-Mobile will provide them with everything that is necessary for operating the services, including high-quality customer and technical support, which is a matter of course." 

The offer consists in the solution design, provision of a modem, installation at the customer’s place of business and a quality guarantee (SLA – Service Level Agreement) included in the price of the service. 

Profi ADSL
This plan provides fixed-line internet access based on ADSL technology and is intended primarily for small and medium-sized companies for which internet communication is a crucial prerequisite for their business. Profi ADSL is a reliable fixed-line high-speed internet service with guaranteed quality, offering permanent connection to the internet and allowing customers to download an unlimited volume of data. Customers can choose from plans with download speeds of up to 16Mbps and 1:20 and 1:10 aggregations (a maximum of 10 or 20 subscribers share the speed within the respective aggregation). The price of the product includes one static public IP address, lease of a modem, and installation and configuration of the service at the customer’s place of business. Additional IP addresses may be purchased for a fee.

Profi SHDSL
Profi SHDSL is a fixed-line internet service with guaranteed quality based on SHDSL technology, which uses symmetric data transfers (the speed of data transfers to users is the same as that from users). The service offers speeds of up to 4Mbps with 1:1 aggregation and an unlimited volume of transferred data. T‑Mobile will provide the customer with a block of four static public IP addresses and will arrange for a lease of a modem, and installation and configuration of the service directly at the customer’s place of business. As with Profi ADSL, installation and lease of the modem are included in the price of the service, which depends on the contract term and the type of terminal device. Additional IP addresses can be ordered for a fee. This offer is intended especially for medium-sized and large companies with increased data transfer requirements.

Voice Line
Voice Line is a simple service offering one telephone number for connecting a fixed-line telephone or fax in the calling mode. The solution is suitable for small businesses. Installation could not be easier: all users need to do is plug the telephone or fax into a socket. Calls within the company network are free of charge. The product works only in combination with an ADSL plan from T-Mobile. Customers can choose from several types of voice plans.

Multi Voice Line
In addition to individual telephone numbers, the Multi Voice Line service offers the possibility of using blocks of 10, 100 or 1,000 consecutive numbers. Enabling connection of several analogue telephones, branch exchanges or other devices, the service is intended for larger businesses. When signing a fixed-term contract, customers are provided with free solution design and installation; in the case of open-ended contracts, solution design and installation cost CZK 400 excl. VAT (CZK 480 incl. VAT) per each individual tariff plan. Calls within the company network are free of charge. Multi Voice Line works only in combination with Profi ADSL or Profi SHDSL from T-Mobile. 

Business customers can choose from several voice plans. Plans offering the possibility of using ranges of numbers – Multi R10, R100, R1000 Voice Line – are intended only for connecting the customer's branch exchanges.
