Prague, 29 April 2019 - On 1 May, T-Mobile is launching a new campaign entitled “Magenta 1 will adapt to every family, including yours” (“Magenta 1 se přizpůsobí každé rodině. I té vaší”). Aimed at supporting the Magenta 1 service introduced in February last year, the campaign will run until the end of June and will serve as a means of presenting the benefits of Magenta 1.
Magenta 1 - The most flexible solution on the Czech market with nearly 40,000 combinations
The Magenta 1 service brings benefits to customers who combine mobile and fixed-line services under one contract. The more services customers purchase, the more benefits they receive from the operator. The maximum number of services that can be combined under one contract is nine. “Magenta 1 is the most flexible solution on the Czech market. It now offers nearly 40,000 different combinations, which makes it suitable for any household,” says Juraj Bóna, Commercial Division CZ Director at T-Mobile, adding: “What customers appreciate the most is that nobody dictates anything to them. We do not offer them any predefined bundle or service that must be a part of it and we do not condition the provision of discounts with any specific products. In Magenta 1, customers combine only those services that they really want, need and will use.”
Services within Magenta 1 tailored to suit everybody’s needs
Ever customer combines fixed-line and mobile services to suit their own needs. In the fifteen months after the introduction of the service, two-thirds of customers are using a combination of mobile and fixed-line services, while the remaining third only combines mobile services within Magenta 1. The largest number of customers use four services, with the most popular and most frequent combination being two Mobil S generation plans with fixed-line home internet and T-Mobile TV.
Within their group, all members call and send text messages to each other free of charge, even if they do not have an unlimited plan or if they are users of a prepaid Twist card, which they perceive as a very welcome benefit. Parents can thus add their children using prepaid cards to the group. If they combine four services altogether, they will receive an extra 10GB data allowance to be used on their mobile phones in addition to a 20% discount on the monthly fee. And if they add anything else into Magenta 1, they receive an extra 15GB portion of mobile data per month and a 25% discount on the monthly fee. Customers can divide the extra data allowance among individual group members as they wish.
T-Mobile tells stories in its new campaign
T-Mobile has abandoned the Růženka (“Rose”) hotel campaign and has wagered on unknown actors. In its upcoming campaign, the operator will show stories of ordinary people who, however, have unusual professions or hobbies and who thoroughly think about the ideal selection and combination of their services with the operator at moments when they should definitely focus on something completely different. T-Mobile is coming up with a simple answer and solution for them, which is Magenta 1.
The campaign will run until the end of June on TV, internet and social media and will be supplemented with communication at the T-Mobile shops. Three 30-second spots will be gradually aired on TV. The campaign was created by Saatchi & Saatchi. The TV spots were shot by director Marek Partyš and produced by Bistro Films. The voiceover was recorded by presenter and voice actor Zbyšek Horák.
T-Mobile also keeps business customers in mind
Beginning on 1 May, T-Mobile will allow entry into the world of Magenta 1 also for entrepreneurs and small business owners. The operator is newly offering the benefits under the Magenta 1 Business brand with the Extra for Business Customers (Extra pro podnikatele) contract. Thanks to this combination, T-Mobile is now offering an extra 10GB allowance of shared free data; the offer applies to customers who newly purchase fixed-line internet from the operator and who have signed an Extra for Business Customers contract or who participate in the Business Customers Programme (Program podnikatele). The offer is supported by a campaign entitled “Magenta 1 will adapt to every business, including yours” (“Magenta 1 se přizpůsobí každému podnikání. I tomu vašemu”).
