Prague, 1 October 2002 â?" Yesterday, T-Mobile was awarded Best Mobile Operator in the category Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by the jury of the World Communication Awards 2002 in London. The jury praised T-Mobile â?śfor its all-round performance in mobile technology and services, and its bold growth strategyâ?ť. The World Communication Awards, now in its fourth year, is widely recognized as the most trusted event in the global communications industry. 

This award is not a first award T-Mobile received in the field of telecommunications. RadioMobil, the Czech member of T-Mobile, has already received a number of prestigious international awards. Among the most significant is the prize for the most innovative GSM operator, awarded at the international conference of operators in Cannes in 1999.
