T-Mobile introduces “Pro Jistotu” service – offering convenient installment payments, replacement phones during repairs, extended warranty, faster claims for just CZK 29. Offers also insurance.

T-Mobile continues to focus on building a comprehensive ecosystem for mobile phones: offering a wide range of hundreds of products, excellent availability in stores and online, and competitive pricing and subsidies. The operator now offers a convenient installment plan with no upfront payment, making phones even more accessible — plus a free protective film until March. Additionally, it introduces a new service called Pro Jistotu (Just in Case), giving customers greater assurance when dealing with unexpected issues related to their mobile phones. The service is available in three packages – S, M, and L – all of which include a 12-month extended warranty for new phones, fast claims processing within 15 days, and the provision of a replacement phone during the repair process. The S package starts at just CZK 29 per month. Higher-tier packages include additional benefits such as insurance for damage or theft.

According to BNP Paribas Cardif insurance statistics, around 65% of Czechs have experienced their smartphone being damaged, drowned, or stolen, and this number has been rising in recent years. The average repair cost for a damaged device amounts to 67% of the phone’s purchase price, with screen replacements remaining among the most expensive repairs. Despite this, many owners avoid repairs due to high costs or the inability to be without their phone during the repair process, often lacking a spare device.

The Pro Jistotu M and Pro Jistotu packages primarily cover damage caused by falls, water, or power surges. They also protect against damage caused by children or pets, as well as theft. Customers will receive a repaired or replacement phone within 15 days. These plans are available in three options, with coverage limits up to CZK 50,000, and come with no deductibles or depreciation applied to the phone's value. The maximum insurance period is 24 months.  At the same time the warranty is extended by 1 year to a total of 36 months.
