Twenty-seven normally paid applications and games free of charge for customers
Five special weekend presents worth up to CZK 2,500
The first weekend present: six issues of the iconic Čtyřlístek comic strip in electronic form
Prague, 14 November 2013 – On Monday, 18 November, T-Mobile will launch additional new services from its Christmas offer. The operator has prepared an “Appvent Calendar” for its customers, which will bring one normally paid application or game free of charge every business day until 24 December. During the offer’s period of validity, T-Mobile will thus give out a total of 27 applications which customers can use in the fastest mobile network in the Czech Republic. In addition to that, one special larger gift in the form of electronic magazines, comic strips, books and games worth up to CZK 2,500 will be given out on each of the five pre-Christmas weekends.
The free applications and games are intended for all customers of the operator whose devices use the iOS or Android operating system. The offer, which is available on the website at m.t-mobile.cz/vanoce, will always change in precisely 24-hour intervals. T-Mobile, as the partner of the best Czech applications, will dedicate all Wednesdays in December to Czech mobile applications and games. However, the schedule of the Appvent Calendar will not be disclosed in advance so that customers do not lose the element of surprise, which is an inherent part of Christmas.
The first special weekend gift will be available on 23-24 November. It will consist in six free issues of the iconic Czech Čtyřlístek (“Four Leaf Clover”) comic strip in electronic form. The weekend gifts will also be available on the website at m.t-mobile.cz/vanoce always from midnight on Friday until midnight on Sunday. To download any of the gifts, customers first need to generate a code and then apply it. The offer will be valid always on weekends and the code may also be applied only on weekends.
“We know from our customers that they require and keep searching for tips for applications and games that should not be missing in their devices. We want to help them with that. Therefore the Appvent Calendar does not only bring gifts to our loyal customers but also inspiration for all the possible uses of a smartphone,” says Dana Tomášková, Vice President Resident Marketing at T-Mobile. The concept of the Appvent Calendar follows the Christmas offer introduced on 1 November and its key components, which are the Deezer and VOYO services at special prices and devices that can be purchased on instalments without interest against a down payment of CZK 1 and at a discount of CZK 1,000 for our existing customers (more information on this offer is available in this press release).
T-Mobile also thinks of people who need help from others. Therefore it developed for the charitable organisation Dobrý anděl (“Good Angel”) a special application of the same name which will facilitate sending financial contributions for donors. The funds thus raised will then help families with children who are in financial difficulty due to a serious illness of any of their family members. The application for Android and Windows Phone operating systems will be available from the beginning of December, the version for iPhones from mid-December.
