T-Mobile Family: now even better and cheaper
- Free communication between family and friends now includes free SMS and MMS
- Changes have been made to both the Family tariff plan and the Family add-on
- Better conditions now available also to corporate users of the T-Mobile Team add-on
Prague, 30 April 2009 - T-Mobile has significantly improved its Family tariff plan and Family and Team add-ons. With effect from 1 May, their users can not only make free calls but also send free text and multimedia messages among a group of up to five members, within one monthly fee. The operator is also reducing the standard price of the T-Mobile Family and T-Mobile Team add-ons.
"Both the add-ons and the tariff plan have met with great success, being activated by more than 75,000 customers during the first three months since their launch," says Petr Dvořák, Executive Vice President Marketing at T-Mobile, adding: "As we did not want to omit avid users of text messaging we have extended both add-ons to include free text and multimedia messages, making this offer available to existing and new users."
T-Mobile Family add-on
T-Mobile Family offers unlimited communication to a group of up to five people. Until present, group members could only make free calls among themselves. Now they can also send free text and multimedia messages within their group.
The group, which may consist of one up to four members from the T-Mobile network in addition to the group's administrator, is always set up by one administrator and can include contract customers as well as Twist users. The regular monthly fee, which is only paid by the administrator, depends on the number of group members. With effect from 1 May 2009, T-Mobile is reducing the standard price of this add-on and the new price will apply to both existing and new users.
If the group has, for example, five members (administrator + four additional users), the monthly fee paid by the administrator will be CZK 749 incl. VAT instead of the current CZK 999 incl. VAT. If, theoretically, all group members shared the monthly fee among themselves, each of them would pay less than CZK 150 per month for unlimited calls, SMS and MMS to five selected numbers..

The T-Mobile Family add-on can be activated with most of the tariff plans for either one year or for an unlimited period. When activating this add-on, users do not have to change their existing tariff plan.
Family tariff plan
Changes have also been made to the full-fledged Family tariff plan. For CZK 750 per month, up to five group members can make unlimited free calls and send an unlimited number of free text and multimedia messages among themselves. Calls to other numbers are charged to the respective tariff-plan user at CZK 3.90/min., text messages to members outside the group at CZK 1.20/SMS (all prices include VAT). When making calls and sending SMS to numbers outside the group, the other group members pay the prices according to their respective tariff plans.

T-Mobile Team
Better conditions are available also to corporate users of the T-Mobile Team add-on who can now enjoy free text and multimedia messages among up to five numbers besides free calls. Entrepreneurs will not have to pay any extra fee for this improvement - on the contrary: T-Mobile Team will now cost CZK 599 excl. VAT (CZK 712.81 incl. VAT) per month, a CZK 100 reduction compared with the price valid to date.

T-Mobile Team allows up to five people, both from the company and outside of it, to make free calls and send free text and multimedia messages to one another for a regular monthly fee paid by the group's administrator. Any entrepreneur (holder of a company registration number) who uses any of the minute-based or credit-based tariff plans offered by TMobile may become the administrator of a group while the members of the group may include both company and non-company TMobile SIM cards, regardless of whether they belong to pre-paid card users or contract customers. The add-on can be activated for one year or for an unlimited period; it cannot be used by users of data tariff plans, including Twist Internet and Twist Internet Basic.
