T-Mobile enhances the popular cost-control service Náklady pod kontrolou in the Family offer

Prague, 8 December 2011 – T-Mobile is enhancing customers’ control over their expenses within the Family offer. Outgoing charged traffic can now be smartly blocked by family or team administrators for all members of their groups while retaining the possibility to call within the family/team, to call five other permitted charged numbers and free numbers. Within two months of its launch, Rodina v bezpečí (Safe Family), a unique service on the Czech market, has won widespread popularity, as it has gained nearly 25,000 satisfied clients. Nejlepší nabídka pro rodiny (The Best Offer For Families) is being used by more than 150,000 customers. 

In December, the operator has launched interesting refinements for the Náklady pod kontrolou (Costs Under Control) service within the Rodina v bezpečí/Tým pod kontrolou (Team Under Control) offer. The family administrator can now newly use, free of charge, so-called smart blocking of charged traffic of a group member. So kids will not spend their entire credit, for example, by downloading music or calling suspicious numbers. Náklady pod kontrolou enables both pre-paid card users and contract customers to fully control expenses within the group. 

Smart cost control is designed for those who want to have the expenses of their nearest and dearest – especially children – under control. It will be impossible to carry out any charged operations – buy fun content (e.g. download games and music), make calls to international numbers, use premium (audiotex) services, or call any charged numbers outside the family/team except for five permitted charged numbers, free numbers (e.g. Mých5 (My5), information lines starting with 800 or emergency calls – 150, 155, 158 and 112). 

The Rodina v bezpečí service means not only control over spending, but also safety of the individual members, be they children or grandparents. Dozens of family or team administrators have already received an emergency notification, which is an SMS automatically informing the administrator that a member of the group has called an emergency line, including the last known location of the member. And nearly 650 parents have located a group member using this service. 

Customers using the family offer can activate Rodina v bezpečí free of charge by means of an SMS in the form of RODINA A VBEZPECI_phone number of the member sent to 4603 or at any T-Mobile contact place (e.g. Customer Centre). Operation of the service is also free of charge; no monthly fee is paid. Náklady pod kontrolou can be activated for a member in the same way: SMS in the form of NAKLADY_phone number of the member_A sent to 4603. 

Services offered under Rodina v bezpečí can also be ordered separately, though some of them are charged when not used within the family offer.
