T-MOBILE CUSTOMERS USE THE BEST RATED MOBILE NETWORK IN CZ

• „Best in Test” seal awarded to T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. for the third time
• The excellent overall result 945 points out of 1000, in voice and data categories

Prague, December 5, 2019 - This year, T-Mobile´s customers could enjoy Unlimited summer and then, they could opt for a new, data rich tariff generation. T-Mobile´s network has coped with dramatically growing data consumption without any problems. On top, the customers can enjoy – for the third time – the fact they use the best mobile network in CZ. According to the latest prestigious network testing by umlaut (former P3) held in October 2019, T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. (TMCZ) achieved the best results in the overall test. The operator scored the most points (945 out of 1000) and was awarded with Best-in-Test seal. The three main Czech networks were part of the test. TMCZ was followed by other operators with 940 and 894 points in final results. TMCZ won in voice and data categories, achieving 2nd ranking in crowd sourcing category.

The quality of network, its capacity, stability and safety belongs to T-Mobile´s main focuses. In 2019, the operator has focused mainly on fiber roll-out, necessary not only for future development of 5G, and worked on coverage of Prague´s underground, prolonging the covered part by 4 stations and connecting tunnels.

In Voice service, T-Mobile achieved 314 points out of 320 (the competitors gained 310 and 289 points). T-Mobile’s performance is characterized by best call reliability and best speech quality results in cities and on roads.

Also, the measurements in data services prove T-Mobile offers highest quality service reaching 460 points out of 480 (the competitors gained 457 and 434 points). In cities and on the roads, the operator achieved best results in categories web browsing, file download and upload. According to umlaut all three Czech operators have excellent LTE footprint and reliability for all data services.

Test methodic

The recent umlaut audit was realized in the Czech Republic between October 17 and November 1, included measurements in 12 cities, 20 towns and on connecting roads. The detailed test includes measurements and evaluation of many use cases like file downloads and uploads, the time required for internet pages loading, YouTube videos loading.
