T-Mobile customers not scared of roaming

• EU roaming now available as far away as Reykjavík
• Longer calls and higher total number of minutes called while abroad
• T-Mobile has 400 roaming partners in 167 countries

Prague, 29 January 2008 - The total number of countries from which T-Mobile customers can call for favorable "European" rates has now increased to twenty-nine. As of 1 February 2008, customers can use the EU roaming plan also in Norway, Lichtenstein and Iceland. One minute of an outgoing call from abroad with the EU roaming plan costs CZK 16.54 incl. VAT while incoming calls are priced at CZK 8.09 incl. VAT per minute. The new prices dispel any fears of calling from abroad that T­Mobile customers may have had - for example, with contract customers, the average call length increased by 32% while the number of minutes called while roaming rose by 37%. At present, nearly 1.5 million T-Mobile customers use this method of making the cheapest possible calls when abroad.

T-Mobile's contract customers could first activate the EU roaming add-on last August. For Twist card users, this roaming plan was activated automatically. The EU roaming add-on lowers prices for calls made within and among the other twenty-six countries of the European Union, plus the three countries mentioned above. The customer pays CZK 16.54 incl. VAT for a minute of an outgoing call while a minute of an incoming call costs CZK 8.09 incl. VAT. Prices of other roaming services (SMS, MMS, data transfers, calls outside the EU) are billed according to the basic roaming price list (Happy Roaming).

In addition to the EU roaming add-on, T­Mobile continues to offer its very popular Cestovatel add-on, which is currently used by about 135,000 T-Mobile customers. The Cestovatel add-on features low prices for all services including calling, text messages and data transfers. In addition, it is by far the most favorable tariff plan for long calls, and it is especially useful in Croatia, a country with popular seaside resorts, which is not an EU member state.

T-Mobile customers can make calls from 400 networks in 167 countries. Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Croatia, France, Great Britain and Poland are the countries where roaming is used most often by Czech customers.

The EU roaming add-on: activation and prices
Contract customers can order the EU roaming add-on by sending an SMS with ROA A EU to 4603. They will then receive an SMS confirming the activation of the add-on. Twist card users have been automatically charged for their calls within the European Union according to the EU roaming prices since 1 August 2007.
