Prague, 15 November 2006 - Starting on 20 November, T-Mobile has prepared a special offer for women who wish to be elegant and at the same use the hottest technologies. It includes seven types of mobile phones accompanied by selected accessories, such as perfumes, stylish headsets or cases.
"Although men may be more familiar with the technical aspects of mobile phones, women want to have style, but above all, they make more phone calls and send more SMS," explains Petr Dvořák, Vice President Consumer Marketing, adding: "If we compare T-Mobile's contract customers, women monthly send 25% more SMS than men. An average female customer sends 85 text messages a month, while an average man sends only 63 SMS." According to T-Mobile's statistics, the average call made by a woman lasts 1 minute 52 seconds, compared to men's 1 minute 41 seconds.
The offer called "Urban Women", which is now being launched in the Czech Republic, has been available in Germany since the end of the last year and during the first three months, it sold 130,000 mobile phones. In the Czech Republic, it will include seven sets with stylish and elegant mobiles by Nokia and Samsung. Female customers will be able to enjoy the luxurious Nokia 8800 with a steel body and a black mini headset, Samsung D900 with black LACASA case and a pendant, Nokia 7373 L'Amour containing a pink-white headset, a Samsung X660, Nokia 6131 or Nokia 6103 sold with a case, and lovers of fresh scents can go for a Samsung S870 sold together with a Tommy Hilfiger perfume.
Special sets can be purchased by anyone, i.e. also by a man as a present for his partner.
