Prague, 20 March 2003 - As of 20 March, T-Mobile customers can be kept constantly informed about the most important current event - the Iraq crisis. A substantial part of the existing +NEWS channel is reserved for up-to-date reports on the developments in this area, the t-zones WAP offer provides the same.
Information on the Iraq crisis will form a substantial part - approx. 70% - of the news on the existing +NEWS channel. Some SMS will also include a link to Audio Info section. Customers can thus gain further information in addition to the latest update received in the form of SMS; e.g. they can listen to an actual audio recording of politicians' or reporters' statements on the relevant issues. During today, a new link on the Iraq crisis will be added to the WAP categories "Aktuálně" and "t-news" on the t-zones portal. This link will be in the first place in both categories. By clicking on the link, customers will receive on-line monitoring of the Iraq scene, with the possibility to browse through older reports. News is provided from the sources of the Czech Press Association and the iDNES news server.
Every T-Mobile customer that has a phone supporting the WAP technology can receive the latest updates, either as a single piece of information (T-Mobile Info), or customers can order an on-going delivery of news (T-Mobile Info Plus).
