T-MOBILE BECOMES A PARTNER OF THE COLOURS OF OSTRAVA MUSIC FESTIVAL

10% discount on tickets to Colours of Ostrava for T-Mobile customers

Prague, 16 May 2013 – T-Mobile has announced its partnership with the Colours of Ostrava festival, which will take place this year from 18 to 21 July at the Lower Area of Vítkovice in Ostrava. Following the Rock for People festival, which T-Mobile continues to support, this is another significant music event to which T-Mobile has decided to link its name. Starting today, T-Mobile is offering its customers a 10% discount on all-event tickets to Colours of Ostrava. For the first time in the event’s history, T-Mobile is also preparing a special festival application, which will, among other things, provide a whole range of practical and useful information.  

The company’s presentation at this year’s two big festivals will be in the spirit of Sci-fi City. “We want to show people how smartphones and mobile applications can make their lives easier, not only at the festival, but also in everyday life. In Sci-fi City, lengthy filling in of paper forms and cash payments will become a matter of the past,” says Markéta Vychytilová, Senior Head of Sponsoring and Events at T-Mobile. As part of the presentation, the Sci-fi City mobile application will also be introduced, offering visitors unusual options to liven up and facilitate their festival experience. More details on this innovative application will be provided in due course.

Another significant activity of the operator in the field of music in 2013 is the year-long on-line contest for tickets to selected concerts of global music stars called the t-music Amazing Tour. The contest has two rounds in each quarter of the year. Winners of the first round can look forward to an exclusive trip to a concert abroad, with T-Mobile also paying travel expenses, accommodation in a hotel, and in some cases also for an additional entertainment program.
