T-MOBILE AND RWE SIGN A LOCAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES OUTSOURCING CONTRACT

Prague, 4 November 2014 – T-Mobile and RWE IT Czech have signed a contract on local telecommunications services outsourcing. The operator will deliver a total of ten types of catalogue telecommunications services to members of the energy group RWE, such as e-mail, network, IPT, call centre, customer service, central dispatch, videoconferencing and other services. The contract was signed for six years; its total volume is in the region of hundreds of millions of Czech crowns.

The contract will secure gradual transfer to the customer-oriented model of IT service supplies, with exclusive focus on RWE’s core business areas. The contract will be implemented in several stages, which include gradual optimisation of the service environment. To ensure seamless implementation of all required services, the operator has taken over 21 employees from the RWE Group, who will be in charge of integration of the individual services into the appropriate systems and will provide comprehensive support from the perspective of end users.
