A new tariff plan for households with LTE or 3G coverage
Possibility to set up a home Wi-Fi network for up to 32 devices simultaneously
Web browsing and checking of e-mails and social networks without speed restriction after the data allowance is used up
Prague, 1 December – T-Mobile is offering households in areas covered with LTE or 3G a possibility of setting up their own Wi-Fi network with a capacity of connecting up to 32 devices simultaneously. The Pevný internet bez drátu (“Wireless Fixed-Line Internet”) tariff plan will be introduced to the operator’s portfolio on 9 December and will enable maximum download and upload speeds of 8 Mbps and 2 Mbps, respectively. The tariff plan is priced at CZK 399 per month and includes a 30 GB data allowance. Once the data allowance is used up, the speed for web browsing and checking of e-mails and social networks will not be reduced.
“With Pevný internet bez drátu, we are offering full-fledged internet access to households that do not have a land line or are not happy with their current home internet solution,” says Dana Tomášková, Vice President Resident Marketing at T-Mobile.
The tariff plan works if combined with a Huawei E5180 or Huawei B593S modem and can be used in only one place, so it is not intended for use when travelling. For a monthly fee of CZK 399 (regardless of the type of contract), customers can use maximum download and upload speeds of 8 Mbps and 2 Mbps, respectively. When using data for browsing the web and checking e-mails and social networks, the speeds are not reduced even if clients exceed their 30 GB allowance. If necessary, however, the allowance can be easily increased by 10 GB for CZK 200.
The Huawei E5180 modem can be purchased at T-Mobile shops for CZK 3,549 (or against an advance payment of CZK 99 and 23 subsequent monthly instalments of CZK 150); the Huawei B593S modem is priced at CZK 6,199 (or can be purchased against an advance payment of CZK 449 and 23 subsequent monthly instalments of CZK 250).
