T-Mobile achieves double success in the Telecoms Awards 2012 survey

• T-Mobile Czech Republic named the best wireless telecoms provider in Eastern Europe
• Milan Vašina named the winner of the Best Telecoms CEO category

Prague, 21 November 2012 – For the fifth time, the magazine World Finance has announced the winners of the World Finance Awards. In the field of telecommunications, T-Mobile Czech Republic was ranked first in two categories. Milan Vašina, Managing Director of T-Mobile, was the winner of the Best Telecoms CEO, Eastern Europe category. The operator also dominated the Best Wireless Telecoms Provider, Eastern Europe category.    

“I am happy about our success for two reasons. The awards are recognition of our efforts so far and they motivate us to continue offering our customers the highest possible quality of services,” says Milan Vašina, Managing Director of T-Mobile Czech Republic, adding: “It is also confirmation that the decisions that I have taken have led the entire company in the right direction in the present difficult conditions.”

The winners of the previous editions also include other companies of the Deutsche Telekom Group, e.g. Magyar Telekom and Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa. This year, T-Mobile Czech Republic added the Best Telecoms CEO, Eastern Europe and Best Wireless Telecoms Provider, Eastern Europe awards to its collection.

The World Finance Awards have been presented since 2007. They are intended to recognise leaders of various business sectors, whether these are outstanding organisations or eminent personalities, which represent the benchmark of success and experience of the best in their fields. This year, awards were presented in 16 categories.
