Prague, 12 July 2016: T-Mobile has announced a summer series of planned shutdowns of certain services, which are connected with a wave of migration to the new client relationship management (CRM) system. The shutdowns will be implemented in three waves: the first wave is scheduled to take place from 7:00 p.m. on Friday, 29 July 2016, to the morning of Monday, 1 August 2016; the second wave from 7:00 p.m. on Friday, 12 August 2016, to the morning of Monday, 15 August 2016; and the third wave from 7:00 p.m. on Friday, 2 September 2016, to the morning of Monday, 5 September 2016. T-Mobile apologises to its customers for any inconvenience.
During the periods concerned, T-Mobile’s current services, including calls, text messages and the possibility of activating selected data bundles (including roaming data bundles), will continue to work uninterrupted. However, during the shutdown the operator will unfortunately be unable to receive and implement customer requests, such as activation of new services, changes to their settings, deactivation of services and SIM card replacements, via the My T-Mobile self-service portal, automatic voice response system and SMS codes.
The Customer Centre, T-Mobile shops and partner shops will also operate on a limited basis. Assistants will be able to provide only basic information and process basic requests, such as card blocking due to loss or theft. The shutdown will also affect customers using the services of the virtual operators in the T-Mobile network (MOBIL.CZ, RWE Mobil, PREmobil, and the virtual operators in the former GTS network) and Kaktus customers.
The operator therefore requests that its customers change the current settings of their services or activate services that they wish to use in the shutdown period in advance. The migration to the new CRM system is a fundamental and necessary technological change that will help improve the quality of services provided to T-Mobile customers as well as introduction of new services.
