Roaming from T-Mobile again more affordable

• A new Travel & Surf data roaming bundle at a 50% discount for summer
• The Cestovatel add-on extended to cover 33 countries
• A new type of roaming service for prepaid Twist card users – Twist Dovolená

Prague, 14 June 2011 – T-Mobile is presenting new and innovated services for travels abroad, which can be used not only during the summer. Customers can look forward to the new Travel & Surf na měsíc (“Travel & Surf for One Month”) roaming bundle, which will now be available for the very attractive special price of CZK 490 per month. The operator is also permanently extending the Cestovatel (“Traveller”) add‑on to cover an additional 20 countries. A new roaming service – Twist Dovolená (“Twist Holiday”) – has also been prepared for prepaid Twist card users. 

“We do not forget about customers who want to make calls and use data services also during their holidays abroad. Therefore we have prepared interesting and practical new services aimed at saving our customers money and a surprise over their bill for calling and using the internet abroad,” says Petr Dvořák, Marketing Director at T-Mobile. 

Travel & Surf na měsíc
A new one-month data roaming bundle, Travel & Surf na měsíc, has been prepared for contract customers as well as prepaid Twist card users. From 12 June to 30 September, the bundle can be purchased at a 50% discount for CZK 490 incl. VAT per month. Beginning in October, users of this service will pay the standard price of CZK 990 incl. VAT. This one-off bundle does not extend automatically; customers can choose whether or not to order it again.

 The service features a new parameter – its activation can be planned for a certain date up to 91 days in advance. The customer will then receive an SMS notification before the service is activated. The offer is intended for browsing the internet in all EU and EEA (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) countries and includes a 200MB allowance for data downloads and uploads. When 80% and then 100% of the limit is reached, users will receive SMS notifications asking them whether they wish to order another bundle or suspend data transmissions. This services supports GPRS/EDGE/3G technologies. 

During their trips abroad, customers can also use the Internet v zahraničí na den (“Internet Abroad for One Day”) and Internet v zahraničí na týden (“Internet Abroad for One Week”) bundles, which are now offered under the name “Travel & Surf”. The one-day variant of Travel & Surf with a 3MB data allowance is now available for the special price of CZK 29 instead of the standard price of CZK 60, the variant with a 20MB data allowance costs CZK 149 instead of the standard price of CZK 240. All prices include VAT. The service is activated by the first use of data access abroad and can be used repeatedly once the limit is reached. When customers do not want to transfer to the one-week or one-month variant of the Travel & Surf bundle, they can use two one-day bundles within 24 hours, for example. 

Cestovatel extended permanently
Another innovation is designed for customers making longer calls outside the Czech Republic: the Cestovatel add-on has been extended to apply in 33 countries (in all EU and EEA countries, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia and the United States) while the original prices remain unchanged. For example, for a one-hour incoming call in the United States, customers will only pay the set-up fee of CZK 34.80; for an outgoing call they will pay the set-up fee plus CZK 4.80/min. The prices include VAT. The service is intended for all customers other than prepaid card users. It can be activated free of charge via My T‑Mobile or by calling the infoline at 4603. 

Twist Dovolená
The third time's the charm, as they say. The third new roaming offer – Twist Dovolená – has been prepared for all users of prepaid Twist cards. Users of the service pay no monthly or activation fee. The uniform price of CZK 6.90 per minute for both outgoing and incoming calls will help customers keep tabs on their calling costs; one SMS is priced at CZK 3.90, one MMS at CZK 10. All prices include VAT and apply to all EU and EEA countries and Croatia. This service is set up automatically for new customers (who can change it to Twist Roaming at any time). Existing customers can change the current Twist Roaming service, which was set up by default, via My T-Mobile or by calling the infoline at 4603.
