RadioMobilâ??s Christmas Offers Attracted a Record Number of New Customers

Prague, 2 January 2002 â?" Almost one million new customers decided for Paegas services last year. At the end of 2001 RadioMobil had 2,850,046 active customers.

Active RadioMobil customers are all users of standard tariff programmes with valid contracts and the users of prepaid Twist services. In line with the world-wide trend, the total number of active customers does not include those users of prepaid Twist services who have not recharged their Twist cards for 12 months.

RadioMobil introduced special offers for contract customers and Twist users before Christmas. â?śThe fact that there was a record increase in the number of new clients in the fourth quarter of last year proves that our Christmas offers were attractive. In that period Paegas welcomed almost 400 thousand new customers,â?ť says Roland Mahler, Managing Director of RadioMobil. â?śThe year 2001 also brought a further increase in Paegas network quality. Our customers appreciated this improvement especially during the Christmas time and at the turn of the year, at which time the network successfully handled a several times higher load,â?ś adds Roland Mahler.
