RadioMobil was the all-round winner of the Corporate Media of the year contest. The Paegas corporate publications captured first places in all three categories: PIN, the employee magazine, won the internal magazines category; Impuls, a magazine for Paegas Bonus Club members was the best in the client magazines category (while Kontakt, focused on business partners, was third behind Review of CSA); and the Paegas web site won the Internet section.
The contest supported by Hospodárská komora CR (Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic) and Strategie, the marketing weekly, was organized for the third time. The jury led by Ms. Barbora KĂ?pplová, the Chairwoman of the Communication Department at the Faculty of Social Science of Charles University, evaluated corporate publications in three categories: internal magazines, magazines for clients, and corporate web sites. Results of the contest were announced during the opening day of the Media Fair at the Prague Fairground at Holesovice. Up to this day, the Ministry of Culture has registered more than 200 periodic publications published by companies for employees or clients.
â?śOf course, we are very pleased by such success in the contest which was adjudicated by a jury composed of general editors of well-known Czech magazines,â?ť said Tereza Kakosová, RadioMobil spokeswoman. â?śWe pay extraordinary attention to the preparation of our corporate publications. Our delight is even greater since the publications are created by our Corporate Information Division within the Corporate Publication Department. We of course understand that an integral part of success of any publication is its design which is prepared for us by Cellula graphic studio.â?ť
RadioMobil uses its client magazines to inform current customers about the newest services and benefits offered by the company. The quarterly Impuls brings information to Paegas Bonus Club members also on areas not connected with telecommunication. â?śWe want to provide readers with something extra so they can find articles about life style, curiosities, and the latest news from the realm of music and film,â?ť explained Tereza Kakosová. The monthly PIN is intended exclusively for employees who can find out information not only about the company but also become acquainted with their colleagues. â?śRadioMobil has almost 2,000 employees distributed all over the Czech Republic. PIN is a very important information source for them as well as a tool for corporate culture development for the company management.â?ť
In addition to the award winning media, the Corporate Publication Department staff prepares a two-page information bulletin called Dialog distributed with an invoice and information for CT and Nova telenews. Moreover, the Department is responsible for web site updates and preparation of supporting press documents for journalists. The Corporate Information Division also contains the Corporate Design Department.
