Starting 9th May RadioMobil lets its customers call audiotex services provided at the special-charge 0609 dialling code. Service operators will offer individual audiotex services using advertising in magazines and TV programs, and the customer can choose from these by selecting phone numbers given in the advertisements. Operators are obliged to give prices of individual services according to standard price-lists valid also in the fixed network. "Our customers can now use a wide spectrum of various services, which excluded audiotex until now. Customers always appreciate a wide offer and we try to give them freedom of choice," said the spokeswoman of RadioMobil Tereza Kakosová. "Quality does not hide only in technologies, but also in the approach towards customers."
A customer who uses an audiotex service at an 0609-number will be charged according to the selected service and its given price. Standard customers will pay for audiotex services on their Bill of GSM Paegas Services (the customer can see the amount in the column "Audiotex services" on the bill and also on the detailed bill). The amount spent on calls will be subtracted from the credit of customers who use the Paegas Twist service.
So far RadioMobil has closed a contract on providing audiotex services with two operators, whose services will be accessible in the Paegas network. Other providers will follow gradually. The provider is always responsible for the quality and content of the audiotex.
It will be possible to block the audiotex service at customers phone request. The customer is then informed about the blocking by an announcement of the switching centre: "Tento hovor není dovolen. Prosím kontaktujte oddÄ?lení péÄŤe o zákazníky sítÄ? Paegas." (This call is not allowed. Please contact Paegas customer care department). Companies using more mobile phones have the audiotex calls blocked automatically, and they have the possibility to ask the info line to unblock selected numbers for them.
