Paegas Twist is the Most Widespread Prepaid Service on the Czech Market

For the time of its existence, the prepaid Paegas Twist service won several primacies on the Czech market. Not only it was really the first prepaid service of mobile operators in the CR, but from the very beginning its users also always had several services at their disposal that they would barely seek with the competition. Furthermore, owners of Paegas mobile phones never needed to wait for the implementation of top technologies and services, as it happens elsewhere. For RadioMobil, operator of the Paegas GSM network, practically always came up with the latest hits of mobile communications to the Czech market. It was usually so quickly that it was often not a Czech, but even a world primacy in implementing novelties.

• January 1999: The Paegas GSM network became one of the first GSM networks in the world to allow prepaid users to send text messages. Together with sending text messages owners of Paegas Twist cards can also use Paegas Info services.
• March 1999: From the beginning of March buyers who activate Paegas can request for a new generation card of the SIM Toolkit standard with the Paegas Info application. Paegas users are the only ones in the Czech Republic who can take advantage of the SIM Toolkit standard.
• April 1999: Paegas Twist users can take advantage of a new service: Paegas Assistant 333 (retrieval of phone numbers by address and field of activity, despatch of the looked-up number as an SMS, direct connection with the looked-up number, connection within the CR as well as international connection).
• August 1999: All owners of Paegas Twist can receive phone calls not only within the CR, but practically all around Europe.
• March 2000: As the first in the world Paegas offered GSM Banking on prepaid cards.
• March 2000: All owners of Paegas Twist cards are the first prepaid users in the world to be able to use WAP standard based services and at the same time they gain the possibility to transmit data and faxes.

The Czech public perceives the Paegas brand as an innovator of the mobile communication market and the young, dynamic Paegas Twist service has become the most favourite and widespread prepaid mobile communication service on the Czech market. 6 out of 10 users of prepaid services decided for it. The interest in Paegas Twist is so immense that it required not only the introduction of new codes 0604 and 0605 this year, but also extension of sales possibilities.

Already in June last year RadioMobil, as the first operator on the Czech market, introduced a special Paegas Twist shop at Národní tĹ?ída in Prague. Here, the customer can buy anything bearing the Paegas Twist brand seven days a week. S/he can choose from an unrivalled and widest offer of 14 different Twist sets altogether, starting at CZK 3 999, in which there is a mobile phone, a SIM Toolkit supporting SIM card and an initial CZK 400 credit. Those who already have a phone and need only a SIM card with a phone number and a 400 crown credit can of course get it here as well for CZK 1399 (again, the most advantageous on the Czech market), or for CZK 1599 in case they decide for a SIM card with banking services.

However, RadioMobil is also open to those customers who do not want or cannot visit a classic "real" shop. They can enter the Virtual Twist Shop directly from the www.paegas.cz website, and buy anything with the Paegas Twist brand as well. In this case not only no postage is billed, but furthermore the customer gets a three percent reduction when purchasing a Twist set. Those who buy a Twist set now also get a free ticket to the Rock for People festival that takes place 4^th - 6^th July in ÄŚeský Brod.

After the recent changes of call prices and a substantial cut-down of the peak as well as the shift of advantageous night rates to 7 p.m. and reduction of the card price by CZK 600 is Paegas Twist the most advantageous way how to immediately start using the most widespread and most innovative prepaid service in the CR.

 

RadioMobil Incorporated is the operator of the most dynamically growing GSM network in CR. During 1999 over 500 thousand new customers decided for its services, which is the highest number in the history of mobile communications in CR. The Paegas GSM network today covers over 99 % of the Czech population and 99.8 % of first-class roads. Customers can use a Paegas GSM mobile phone in networks of 171 operators from almost 80 countries of the whole world. In 1999 RadioMobil invested more than 5.5 billion crowns in its network, and for 2000 it plans investments exceeding 10 billion. At the end of March 2000 over 1 050 000 customers were using the Paegas services.
