Paegas GSM offers for December Paegas Twist packages include two Mobile of the Year winners

Starting December 1, the Paegas Twist package became available with the Nokia 5110, which was recently awarded Mobil of the Year in its category for 1998. At 8,999 Kč including VAT, this new package is an exciting addition to the range of Paegas Twist subscriber services. The Paegas Twist package can also now be purchased for 4,999 Kč including VAT (and a handsome leather case) with the Siemens S6 Power, a Mobile of the Year '97 winner. Rounding out December's Paegas Twist package specials is the Alcatel One Touch Club, available for 5,999 Kč. Clearly, Paegas Twist remains the simplest, most affordable way to mobile communications.

Specially priced standard-class phones

The Bosch 608 remains the most affordable Paegas offering at 99 Kč (without VAT), followed by the Motorola d520 at 1,499 Kč. Because it supports the SIM Toolkit standard, the d520 comes as part of the Paegas Info Pack and includes a choice of banking- or information-services SIM cards.

The Nokia 5110 has been reduced in price to only 2,999 Kč, and Paegas and Paegas-service outlets are stocked with a number of other specially priced handsets. Among them are the Panasonic G450, priced at 2,999 Kč including a hands-free set, and the Siemens S10 with color display and support for the SIM Toolkit standard for 3,999 Kč.

Customers will find extra reason for Christmas cheer at Paegas outlets this year in the form of Extras for the Siemens S6 Power, Motorola d160 and Motorola d170. These accessories packages cost 899 Kč (including VAT) and include:

• A 400 Kč Twist Coupon
• A leather carrying case
• A charger for the car and
• A portable hands-free set.

These accessory packages make great gifts for users of the telephones mentioned above.

The RadioMobil joint-stock company is the operator of the GSM network called Paegas. Its largest shareholders are České radiokomunikace a.s., with 51 percent, and the international consortium CMobil, which holds a 49 percent share. CMobil is made up of the German operator T-Mobil, the Italian operator TIM, PVT, Telekomunikační montáže Praha and Spořitelní kapitálová společnost.

The Paegas GSM network today covers more than 92 percent of the population of the Czech Republic. Customers can now take their Paegas mobile phones to 59 countries around the world and utilize the roaming services of 110 operators. As of the end of November, 1998, more than 340,000 customers were using the services of the Paegas GSM network.
